He took his personal tragedy and gave us art . I loved that he included his father's voice/memories in his story. He should not have been cut........he is a true artist.

My sympathies Matthew... my mother also had pancreatic cancer... but I knew about it before she was in the last stages of dying. I had that last year to say goodbye. Beautiful routine.

Having lost my Sweet Momma to Breast Cancer 5x over 14 yrs I can relate to how devastating it is to lose a huge part of ur soul. This was so frickin BEAUTIFUL, CREATIVE AND MOVING... Wonderful job on performing an unforgettable act and paying tribute to ur Dad!! I know *U MAKE HIM PROUD!!!* Even though his physical body isn't w/ u, I fully believe *HE IS WITH U IN SPIRIT* and was there w/ u in that dream catcher. Yes, sob stories should be avoided. Not in this case though. It was pertaining to his act and he was trying to convey a story. Just the act without the story would have made it dull.

FJO 9 keep in mind that what we see on TV prior to the live shows are edited to fit the time a lot available for a given statement. Many things were not included due to time constraints.

I was never more disappointed with the AGT judges than when they let this guy go in place for the dog trainer and the high school dance team. This guy was incredible, emotional, and talented! What else are they looking for!!?

I was shocked 😳 and appalled 😦 that they cut Matthew he received a standing ovation from all the judges and the audience. It was breathtaking. I saved this on my playlist for my fav AGT Acts but this is the first time that I got it wrong I was certain he was going through. WTF happened did I miss something? He was told by Grabiella that she couldn’t wait to catch his show on Vegas and Simon hinted he did a great 👍 job. I hope they see all these comments and bring him back and let us decide!!!

Was INCREDIBLY disappointed that Matthew wasn't put thru to the Live show. Like SERIOUSLY....a kick team over THIS spectacular and BEAUTIFUL act?!!!? I was rooting for him since his audition n when he said he'd lost his dad to pancreatic cancer...I lost it...n was praying he'd get thru! I lost my mom 9 yrs this Aug to pancreatic cancer as well. It was the WORST thing to watch her suffer like she did n broke my heart we barely had time to soak it in before she passed. She fought a brave fight for just 11 wks after her diagnosis. Pancreatic cancer is a vicious killer and the worst cancer as there's no cure. So saddened when they told about his dad n just as sad they didn't put Matthew thru. WHY on Earth would they choose a high school kick team is beyond me!??! Like, what MORE can they do than kick? Matthew is trained in acrobatics n has more tricks up his sleeve, but OBVIOUSLY has a SPECIAL talent with the hoop!! I will be praying they bring him back with the Wild Card!!! 🛐 And PRAYERS for ALL who have been touched by pancreatic cancer as well!!! #curepancreaticcancernow 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
