Stafford played on a team that had NO interest in winning, Calvin Johnson said that very thing. Stafford was the only sail on a sinking barge every season. His FIRST year in LA, wins a title. Goff is going to be reminded why he was traded.

I remember when I was 12 or 13 years old. I had a asthma attack, and I ended up getting admitted to the hospital for a week. One random day Matthew Stafford came strolling in, he showed a lot love to me and my mother took pictures and spent some time. He is the one of the greatest lions in my book…. Of course, I still need my Lions to win Sunday night, but i respect Stafford💯🦁

I will NEVER forget when Stafford injured his shoulder vs Cleveland in 2009 and fought through the agonizing pain to come back in and throw a game-winning touchdown in the final moments. He won me over for life at that moment and he's second only to Barry as my favorite Lion ever. I'll always be grateful for his toughness, grit, and heart that he gave to Detroit. I can't root for him Sunday night, but I wish him all of the success in the world whenever he's playing any other team.

I’ll always appreciate what Matthew Stafford did as Lions quarterback in his 12 years with the lions; he gave it his all, and he has done a lot for the community off the football field. If I were at the game, I would give him a round of applause in the pregame introduction. Once the game starts, though, I’ll be rooting for the Lions. The Rams may be the six seed, but they’re playing more like a one seed, having won 7 out of its last 8 games. They’re a great team, with a great head coach in Sean McVay, getting a lot of contributions from younger players, and it’s going to take the Lions best to beat them.

I'm so happy with my Lions and where they are now, and while Stafford may not have gotten us to this point, we wouldn't have gotten here without him. If it weren't for his fantastic play and leadership over his 12 years in Detroit he wouldn't have had the value for the trade with the Rams. The assets we got from him leaving laid the foundation for the Lions today. I became a Stafford stan when he threw that game-winning TD on a separated shoulder against the Browns in his rookie year. I will forever be a huge fan of his for not only his on the field accomplishments, but also how he involves and carries himself off the field. However, I need him to walk out of Ford Field the loser on Sunday. Go Lions!! One Pride!

Why couldn't Detroit give this man a complete offense or a complete defense or a competent coaching staff when he got into the NFL Brady would have been left in the dust just look at what Andy Reid did for Patrick Mahomes add Patrick Mahomes arm Talent is not even on Matthew Stafford's level this guy in Detroit would have been NFL Legends buy now

We love him now, and we can love him after...we can give him a warm reception when he takes the field...but NO PLAYER is above the team, and NO OPPOSING QB should be any less than half deaf when a game like THIS is done. Stafford did all he could for the Lions and you can expect a standing ovation Sunday night in Detroit. The Lions are probably the scariest team in NFC and the Cowboys should be thanking their stars they got away with the win over Lions to have a possible home playoff game v them in the future

I've always loved watching Stafford play. Elite QB, fun to watch. As a Cardinals fan, I was also rooting for him to win that Super Bowl. Funny enough I've also been a bandwagon Lions fan since Campbell and crew got there. So, I will be rooting for Detroit and this game on Sunday should be insanely fun.
