Arnold not just ordinary guy he had a uncle and aunt they was owners of big corporations- named " skynet " if we translate from Austrian in to English - before terminator movie : I think it's don't think it's coincidence ! And kandy's family woman became his wife I don't this never happen with ordinary gua - most holiiwood super star's biography are fake !

In Samoa one of the best movie ever, I come in peace, talking about kids trying so hard to imitate the the villain, was so cool and what a performance. Well done Mathias Hues, you're a legend.

It really is a shame that the movie bombed.. because not only was Matthias great in Dark Angel but it was also Dolph Lundgren’s best solo film. I love that movie. It was one of the top VHS rentals of its day. It really deserved more credit.

🎉 i will always remember going to the VHS rental store and the shop owner having lots of Fist Fighter posters! That's how i first came across Mattias! Then later saw Dark Angel aka I Come in Peace. Dude is a legend!

Sometimes directors try to put u into crappy roles by deception, and I remember leaving the studio in the middle of the night when they wanted me to b a serial killer and dead by some kind of a police guy. Some directors are good, some just want to use u to finish their project. I think Mathias was deceived by the directors in that role. Van Damme also left a crappy bug role in predator and thanks to Qissi, he pushed him into a better role. Great interview Viking.

Hello, Viking Samurai. With all due respect to Matthias Hues, he was never going to be on Arnold's level. Arnold Schwarzenegger is action movies, he was larger than life, set a standard, that many tried to follow. Countless action stars out there, but there has been and always will be one - Arnold Schwarzenegger. Shout out to Matthias. He seems like a chill guy. TERRANCE OUT

That movie I Come In Peace was called Dark Angel. Releasing a movie called Dark Angel during Christmas was a VERY BAD idea. You can make all the excuses you want. I don't know about this guy or the situation. However, when you refuse to cut your hair, THAT YOU CAN GROW BACK, this is a sign you are not on board to be a team player. I don't make excuses for Hollywood but it sounds to me like several critical mistakes were made that led to failure in a variety of different ways.

He was so memorable and that takes talent because Dolph Lundgren is a hard act to follow. His screen presence is immense. So for me to remember him so vividly from that role alone shows hes a star. Im so happy you not only got this interview, but you actually worked with him. People who dont understand how huge that is are weird frankly. I actually thought they should have made him Raiden when the reboot happened in the Mortal Kombat movies...

I went to see that movie in the theaters when it came out. For the time, I felt his character as an alien was definitely scary, but really cool, too. I remember thinking: Where are they finding these guys to play these parts? Back then, I thought I could kick the schitt out of anybody, but you definitely don't want to be a meeting humongous monsters like that in an alleyway for a street fight!

For some odd reason i can def see Dolph Lundren keeping Matthias at a distance or having him from being the main star of a movie. Matthias seems to be an affordable actor who could have outshined Dolph!

Let's not get to crazy now lol Arnold was fantastic in that role but I agree Matthias Hues would of made a great Terminator if not the lead one of the upgrade T-800 going up against Arnie... Just my opinion there are two classic rules that Arnold was definitely meant to play and that was Terminator and Conan The Barbarian

I really like Matthias but Matthias Hues was NEVER EVER going to be as Big as Arnold no matter what he did. He simply was not good looking enough as Arnold. Not being harsh, but it's life. Accept it. Arnolds haircut in Predator and Commando sent him to super stardom. Commando and Predator. People are not giving the haircut enough credit. They are NOT grasping this often overlooked requirement.
