I think it's absolutely fantastic that you are so creative; constantly searching for the next best rose and adjusting the breeding programme to our times. I am particularly fascinated with romantic roses with a modern twist, like Camille Claudel ❤ I would love to see more takes on this beautiful variety. Wishing you lots of success with the mini hybrid teas for balcony gardening 😊
Thank you for your message, sadly it is not our decision. For the moment the Indian law on plant breeders right doesn't protect the breeders and, sadly we cannot work and be pirated. We have discussed with Indian growers as recently as this month of November and, even if our variety TOP SECRET(r) Meiflemingue is protected in India, they refuse to pay the royalty. It is sad as we had put lots of energy to create varieties for Indian climatic conditions. Regards
@@YRzone8a Except Red, most countries have only mutations of Eden Rose. A mutation of a Pink/White blend rose cannot be Yellow or Orange, it is genetically impossible. We are working on a fragrant version, like we did with Black Bacarra and Black Perfumella, but breeding is a long game 😉
Our roses from the North American selection are widely available online in Canada. Ask our representative for North America where you could find it : www.starrosesandplants.com/breeder/meilland/ If you are looking for a specific variety, let us know, it might not be release in your area.
thank you ! I bought Leonardo da Vinci last spring but I didn’t add more fertilizer for winter and this spring . Should I add fertilizer now ? It is very bushy now but no buds seen . Thank you . I’m in zone 6A
@@kingston5885 We are not gardening experts ;) and you should ask the local nursery where you bought your roses to get the best advices on your local conditions. But yes, roses are happy to get food once a year at least ;)
