de Ligt's obvious lack of conditioning, necessitating his quick removal from the match, makes one wonder about his professionalism. Bayern may have just flushed a huge amount of money down the toilet. At least in the case of Bouna Saar, the money was misspent on a player who simply wasn't very good. In the case of de Ligt, they MAY just have contracted a lazy player unwilling to put in a proper shift.
