Although this aired in 2019, I just want to point out that the Bar-Bill Tavern is actually in East Aurora, NY, not in Buffalo. Also, Louie's Hot Dogs was actually in Tonawanda, and I just found out that it just closed last month after it was in business for 70 years!

No idea why it wasn't ever aired before 2019, when the footage references the Thursday night home opening game of the 2016 regular season for the Bills against the NY Jets. Maybe because around those years the Bills had kind of "blah" season records of 7-9, 8-8, 6-10, etc., but that's just a guess. Since the last 2 Bills seasons have been 10-6 and 13-3 last year, hopefully this video will be a good omen for the Bills going all the way this year and winning the Super Bowl for the first time in what will hopefully be 5 tries! And Louie's will definitely be missed!

While scanning through some old snap stories with an old friend, I discovered that I was not only at this game, but at this exact tailgate and recorded Matty and Pinto together. Five years before I even discovered Matty on YT lol amazing. Matty Matheson is the goat, and The Bills are the got dayum best team in football (finally). Ready for a return to Buffalo Mat???

Don't know any of the particulars regarding any current vs. past relationships between Matty and VICE and Munchies, or when this program saw its first either digital or analog format broadcast, but the show itself references the 2016 Bills NFL regular season opening game which took place on Thurs., September 15th, 2016. That date was noted as the home game opener, against the NY Jets on a Thursday night, and the rock band's concert footage clearly shows their circa 2016 dated merch.

I fucking love Buffalo! IDK if many people claim multiple places they call "home," but fuck it, I sure do, and Buffalo will always be home to me I moved from Pittsburgh when I was 10 to Rochester and then I moved to Buffalo when I was 20 to move out and finish my degree. I lived in Buffalo for 12 years and I loved the city and the people, it really is a special place and they did a great job with this video showing that. The folks of Buffalo are the friendliest people you will ever meet. They're almost technically Canadian
