Great match, great season, great entertainment. Top setup, too. From judges to streaming to minute rules, everything worked out smoothly. Congrats, so happy for Tymon. Deserved it very much. Can't wait for next season. This is my favorite thing in cubing at the moment.

As a non speedcuber what I love from all these competitors is that they don't get angry at losing. See a clear example of Tymon's reaction about Matty's solve just when he was going to win the second set: 7:14 and Matty's reaction on 23:52 on this other point.

Another thought - I think what's great about this kind of format is that it diverts attention from the focus of WCA comps, which tends to be who's breaking records. Here, it's about who's putting down the best solve of each particular point. So, even if one guy puts down like an 8 second solve, it's still exciting if the other competitor wins with a 7.99 or loses with an 8.01. None of this, "Come on, get a sub 5!" distraction stuff (unless they need a sub 5 to win the point :D). Anyway, everybody got space on their SD cards? Wouldn't want'em to run out or anything ;)

Matty don't feel sad. You have improved a lot compared to your last season!

This season was so beautiful, also it had a lot of emotions and many smiles and sorrows on face. I think that season 4 will be better than other prior seasons

Tymon's inspection when concentrated is fantastic ... perfect job of both.

Dayum, that was a great match. I'm not really partial to anyone so it's just great seeing each competitor put in the effort. Last season, Tymon's mental game against Leo really took a downturn and when Matty started his comeback - which was badass and great to see - I thought maybe Tymon would lose focus and give up the match. But he stayed committed and got those last few brilliant solves. As far as Matty, last season his performance didn't seem up to par with his practice session videos on his channel. I was surprised he didn't get farther. So it was just great to see him get to the grand finals. Totally deserved. I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back even stronger and takes the next season grand final.
