We all like to look fresh and not cakey but at a certain age, it becomes a challenge-fine lines, texture, open pores etc...So I have been trying a new way of applying my makeup, especially foundation, concealer and powder.

Thank you Nisha. I really appreciated this video for mature skin. I am 60 and I struggle with texture and especially the under eye area. You’re so right when you say it looks good from a distance but when you get a closer out and daylight it looks terrible. I love your honesty and learn so much from you.

I love the way you applied the blush, a new technique I’m trying today! I’m not using powder under my eyes and find it disappears throughout the day so I will also try a finer powder and a small fluffy brush. Mad love ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful look! You are so right to point out that the lights and the camera make every makeup look great - and I think a lot of people get frustrated when their makeup doesn't look like they expect after following tutorials. That blush technique is great for a mature face (someone showed me that years ago - a Chanel salesperson, I think). I'm often surprised when certain RU-vidrs that I watch (not you!) appear with no makeup and their skin is really not good, yet they end up looking flawless on camera. Would love to see them in daylight and real life!!

I tried Daniel Sandler Watercolour blush and it works like the iconic - as it’s a liquid but it gives the most amazing light luminous colours. I am 47 and constantly get compliments on my blush. It’s really beautiful especially rose glow and you can purchase sample sizes

A good way to touch up during the day without powder is by using a product like YSL rosy glow balm. It’s a balm that melts into the skin & dries to a powder finish but it’s completely texture free, comes with a tiny puff & is a lifesaver, I love it & I’m not an oily person, but it’ll refresh make up too throughput the day if any wrinkles need ironing out lol. I find oil blotting sheets are really good to blot oil breakthroughs without adding any powder. My favourite are Johnson and Johnson films. I love your review btw! I hate all those reviews where they pile on 20 layers of makeup on. It's so refreshing to have a realistic tutorial!
