Makeup artist for 38 yrs (had many high profile clients,even Disney sent limos to my house) and l will tell you that most, not all, women lose so much hair after menopause. There is nothing wrong except Mother Nature doesn’t seem to know that even though we have no use for those thick hair roots on our face we want them to look like magazine ads. The plus is we get that sleek hairless body we wanted in our youth. Modern culture is hard on aging women.

Thank you SO much for this video featuring the KOSAS foundation! It has become my holy grail of makeup - all of their products are just impressive, and I shall be buying more of them. I live in New Zealand, and buying makeup from the "States" is often very expensive. So I was delighted when you said that this foundation was available from Mecca - one of the stores we do have here. Missed opportunity to use the Kosas concealer under your eyes, I have 50-year-old eyes and I literally cannot use ANY other concealer under my eyes. The Kosas concealer does not crease, it hides HOLLOWS and bags, has SKINCARE in it and you don't have to set it if you don't want to.. it is absolutely the best! I have Fair cool toned skin and I use 1.5 shade

Love, love the Chanel sublimate cream foundation. After seeing your video, read more about it, and decided to order it! It’s marvelous. I am 76 and have trouble with allergic reactions, thus have tried so many different brands, etc. So far so good as I’m not having a reaction. Could you recommend a powder for it, ie Chanel, or something different, and also a good blush. Again, having spent a fortune on different powders and blushes, would like some advice. I put my Pat McGrath powder blush on, but it just doesn’t do it! Love your video❤️❤️☺️

Several companies do make that color....Lamcome is the 1 that I use, also Urban Decay, but I have seen mascara in that color at drugs stores too. I believe Loreal & Maybelline both make 1 that color.

Thank you so much for your videos. I am Merle Norman customer and have been for 40 yrs. I am 68 yrs young and have used many of high end products and drug store products before starting a routine with Merle Norman. My aesthetician started me with skin care first then transitioned me to Merle Norman. I love the fact that you are such a good teacher. Since my makeup and skin care routine has now changed again , since watching your videos I feel comfortable adding new products that are not always Merle Norman but can compliment the products I have been using. Hi Nikol! I have been following you for a while, but just recently subscribed to your channel. I'm a 69 year old Hispanic who took advantage of covid and let my gray hair grow out and I love it!! I also recently made my first purchase of your eyebrow stencils. Let me say, your packaging is beautiful, and the stencils are great. I really wanted to try this foundation but I had the exact issue Nikola did. The “cool/pink” shades are completely orange, like most brands do. They do this I suppose to balance out the redness in cool/pink skin. Problem with this is, most of us don’t want to balance out the natural color of our skin, we want it to MATCH. if my skin is pinker, I need pink foundation, not orange. This makes me so mad. There’s literally like three foundations that actually have a cool/pink undertone. One of them is No. 7. They have beautiful cool toned foundations. Lancôme does too but the new one has great cool toned lighter shades but the medium shades go orange. The tient idol has some nice cool shades. Hourglass, NARS, Fenty, Gucci, KOSAS, Ilia, you name it, all pure orange “cool shades”. If anyone has any recommendations for brands or foundations that have a nice pink/cool tone shade range, please let me know! I would love recommendations. ❤

Hello, you may hate this suggestion but you should check out SignatureMinerals makeup. EVERY conceivable PURE color of foundation is there. But it's powder foundation. Why is it fantastic ?? Because it is SO LIGHT WEIGHT and with good skin care and moisturizer underneath, the SignatureMinerals powder foundations will still let you GLOW!! AND you can order oodles of SAMPLES to find your exact correct shades. I LOVE SignatureMinerals foundations and blushes and bronzers !!!

Occasionally, I use the Kosas tinted face oil. I love it. It’s perfect for days when you want to look somewhat put together, but not “made up”. I also use the Cindy Joseph Boom trio with it. It’s a very subtle look.I’ll definitely check into the foundation.

I have a beauty subscription and monthly I get a lot of great name brand makeup and skincare. I don’t use it as quickly before more is delivered. Needless to say I have a huge stash of unused stuff. I also hate having to spend alot of time on makeup/ skincare. So I have decided to make my own mix to create an all in one foundation with primer, skin enhancers, and some skincare. I took a skin enhancer halo with moisturizing tint, a primer, long lasting foundation that was too dark and too dry for my skin, and Argan oil serum with tint. I mixed all of these together until I was happy with the mix, it is the best foundation I have ever ever had. I now love putting it on, it makes my skin feel and look incredible. I had to just share, this is the only way I feel satisfied with the results. Putting all of these on separately do not give the same results. I’m tired of having so many bottles littering my bathroom that go unused. I hate to waste. Next I will be experimenting with primers and mixing in unused eye makeup to make my own eye primer…hehehe. I had to share this with others…

the Cils Booster from Lancôme, I think it’s better thanand I use it with the Definicils mascara and it’s the ONLY mascara I have ever found that doesn’t transfer under my eyes.

How long does the makeup last and is it water resistant/sweat resistant? I use EL Double Wear which I get compliments on but there is no skin care in it and being 58 that worries me and I do have dry skin. I love the lasting effect though and water proof.
