As a Devils fan, I am jealous as fuck after watching the draft this year. This kid looks like a stud. Talking Stanley Cup at 18. Be patient Philly, give this kid 2-3 years developing and he'll still look like a stud.

Most of the draftees were presented #23 sweaters signifying the draft year..not saying he won’t eventually wear 23 though…his number in the KHL is 39, but I don’t know if that was chosen or assigned by the club…
Let's say my guess is he is media-smart beyond his age. He says all the right things. But hey, nothing wrong with that. As a NHL player you have to live with media attention and watch your mouth anyway. Better to learn it sooner than later. Him dancing around the contract question was near perfect. Destroying the ranking by scouts question in flight was perfect. Spoken like a very good lawyer. That guy to the left(in the video) seriously struggles with the translation. He got it mostly right... mostly(he totally missed the part about watching the NHL as a kid and liking the Flyers jersey). But nothing groundbreakingly wrong.
