i mean ivan devon really has to happen at some point, but I think left arm is a bit unfair; devon just now quit his pumpkin arm training, let him build up his left a bit. And for the right arm match to happen, Ivan has to first prove his capabilities with some lower competition
The only reason Devon left the heavyweight division is that he is no longer young, and all the chemistry that he swallowed and worked hard undermines his health. It's stupid to leave because of Levan alone, when there are so many interesting guys there and not mutants with a weight over 170.
He never faced Vitali, Alex, Corey West some super good heavyweights. Why? Cause He will get humbled big time. And No one cares about the middle weight category.
As someone that buys all the arm wrestling paper views. I think this is a little bit overpriced. This is like a monster factory card with maybe Travis and Matt mask on there. I'll still buy it, but not worth 15 bucks. Maybe ten dollars
Yeah at Devon’s very tall height, there’s no way that he can maintain near his max strength at 105kg, and at 95kg, he would be ridiculously skinny and weaker comparatively, Logically I believe that Devon is better suited for the 115kg class.

Devon is a MUCH better arm-wrestler technically than when was previously HW devision. His should be significantly stronger than he used to be. And even Levan admitted that he didnt think anyone could touch him.

I agree that Devon in the 105kg category will inevitably lose a significant percentage of his strength. Any athlete, and I speak from my own experience, when you cut weight your strength inevitably also decreases. This doesn't mean Devon will be completely destroyed as Ivan says, but it will require much more demand on Devon's training if he wants to maintain a large percentage of his strength and beat the top 5. He can do it, but only if he trains four times more than he did at super heavyweight.
I don’t understand how a 5 ft 5 guy predicts how a 6ft 6 guy will fare when it comes to athletics. I’m built like Devon and I assure you I’m stronger when healthy and normal weight. Apples and oranges
Devon will destroy irakli. He will break iraklis wrist like butter. Irakli couldnt even hold his wrist against 62 year old john brzenk. Devon will be too much for him

Devin is going to do really well at 105 100 it doesn't matter years ago can't be used as a reference to his strength now because of all of the stem cells the new work outs the new prs, he is much stronger now
Most of Devon’s weight was body fat and water weight, his arm power and strength will not diminish, I went from 200lbs to 180 and my strength actually increased. It was all just fat and water weight. It’s been like 2 months and Devon is already down 30+ lbs. the only way a person does that is if most of the weight was water retention and organ fat. U can lose that weight fast over simply changing your diet. I think Devon will destroy the 105-115 kg weight class

Devon is 50, why would he try to keep up at SHW? He knows his body and how it's hard for him to try and be massive all the time to compete.. Cut the guy some slack
Shaw already has the strength. He would need technique and experience. It could be possible to reach elite with lots of practice and tournament matches I think
Devon was already dropping weight vs levan and he cracked levans wrist center table which no one has ever done. I don’t know why people think he’s going to lose a lot of power and will get ran over by the likes of irakli , ongarbaev etc
Why you putting word's in Matyushenko's mouth! Ivan is smart, don't attempt to make him look dumb. Devon will weigh in at 105kg and be 110kg - 112kg come match time. So I don't understand why you say he'll get destroyed at 105kg! He'll walk through the division rather easily. He's just dropping his weight now to get his body acclimated to being that light again. He'll start his preparation for a 105kg match at 110kg. Easy water cut, then back up to 110kg over night easily. It is after all his natural weight.

I think most of the fans would prefer to see Devon pull long term. Hes almost 50 man for his health he cant keep blasting and staying at the top of the SHW class for long. He can chill at a comfortable weight and compete for more world titles for longer its a no-brainer
I don’t think k anyone can say Devon is just “hype” after all the matches he has won and all he has accomplished. Devon will murder Everyone his proper size. He’s not gonna lose much strength. This guy saying he’s gonna get destroyed is the one gonna get destroyed. When he was last 105 kg he was a different puller.
Agree 100 with the protest rule. If the refs wrong retain, refs right that's it. We've all seen far to many examples of fouls being missed, parallel pins missed, etc. This rule is a must, cheers.

Give Laratt tons of credit. He is awesome and moving up to super heavy weight anyway to even try levan in a different weight class when levan has been his current size for way longer is great. Devon honestly shouldn't of changed weight classes anyways he would of just destroyed his weight classes competition completely.

Its only a cheating move when you go under the table. More open top if you are above. Yeah but those guys are also weaker compared to what Devon faced in supers so.
If he post some of his lifts, then we can determine his strength. I believe otherwise, he is a made for 105-115kg, he biomechanically fits there which is why I believe he can still retain 90 percent of his strength.
Leonidas won't even budge John Brzenk on the right arm . Irakli barely managed to beat John . On the left arm of John comes in a good shape then the match can be interesting
If John come with a relatively good health, no pain, etc...then yes, I agree. I don't count the match against Sasho because John cut a lot of weight but all his others matchs he has shown some impressive stuffs, his first round (before he starts challenging himself too much) against Ongar was great, he beat Petrenko not too far ago, he beat Zurab, we can even add Voevoda even if it was a comeback for him...I don't think Leonidas is better than any of them, even if he's getting better and better fast.
@fredtesto4727 Leonidas is still far , and schoolboys were stronger than him but got tired . But there is too big of a strength gap between Leonidas and John.
The moment Devon goes 105 or less, his long arms will just be leverage that will bite him back. He would need the bare minimum muscle to hold that insanely long arms.
He's almost 50 dude....he wants to be around to see his kids become adults and see his future grandkids...you can't maintain the muscle mass to compete in the super heavy division without being a juice lord...being a juice lord at that age is a death sentence...health is wealth
Denis was a strongman before, look how much it took him just to beat John back in the day let alone become number 1 , Devon is just using brian to stay relevant after quiting the dadikyan match , pity .
We need to set up a first match first Brian. Seems he wants to have another ma with Eddie Hall, but I think he should first try a few low ranking Arm Wrestling tournaments or we should have Larry come over for a practice session to get a rough reference point.
Devon will return to super heavy in 2 years after there’s no one left to beat again, in order to face Levan a third time. Only this time, his fans will be absolutely 100% certain that he’ll demolish Levan.
