What a great discussion with caring medical professionals and of course the wonderful, humble Mark Horowitz a true pioneer in his field. Anna’s brave story made me weep with familiarity…

Hopefully this makes a big splash in GPs practice, in Australia. I'm sick and tired of trying to explain the necessity of hyperbolic tapering. 😢

Deprescribing at present with The Maudsleys Deprescribing Guidelines book and my GP, but require in hospital education as a safety net. Been poly drugged when in hospital and psychosis, mania, schizophrenia and bipolar symptoms before finally on the right track. It been 9 years lost. Thank you for telling it like it is Anna King.

This information is so needed right now. The suffering is criminal!!! So many trust that there doctors know? These drugs have taken so much of my life from me! I trusted the medical system. What this lady explains is the TRUTH!!!!! I am still in my prison as l can't find someone qualified to help me!!! This is a totally unacceptable..... The suffering and pain . Exactly the blank stares of the doctors, my once a month visit forced by centrelink ,the humiliation, deep embarrassment as l tried to explain that l can barely exist,let alone WORK! The future has to change!! Informed consent must happen. I could say so much more,but just can't find the words to explain. We need supported desubscibing.... To say the very least...
