About to catch up on this as I’ve been In Lanzarote. Big empathy for this lady. Next week I have major surgery on my hip and use mobility aids so have special assistance as does my Autistic daughter. The nasty man at ACE airport security refused us our special assistance and forced us to suffer. Complaint made.

Totally agree with mum and son outside getting on and of sides with wheelchairs is problem dave airport assistance back in Liverpool isn't good they give you the wheelchair abroad is much more helpful 👍 ❤❤

Assistance at Arrecife are a bit overpowering. As a visually impaired larger chap the forced me into a large wheelchair with a 4ft something Spanish lady taking me through to coach transfer. On the way back they put all disabled in an area with cordons and you cannot see departure boards. Then because Manchester flight was 5 mins before East Midlands all the staff disappeared with the Manchester assisted and it was a mad rush to get me to flight, again with a 4ft something person trying to stop the forced-use wheelchair with big old me, going down the het-bridge. I'm back a week on Monday with my disabled adult son too.

I fell and broke my left wrist whilst here few years ago and could not fault the care I received. Only problem was I could not understand what they were talking about but got the gist. I visited 3 times to have the pins cleaned, which I'm sure would never have been done in the U.K. I was in 11.30 a.m. and out again at midnight having had a general anesthetic. Apparently the surgeon came from Gran Canaria.

What a lovely lady, really enjoyed that, looks like a beautiful place, may book it for October, have never been to Playa Blanca ,am in the Fariones suites in May, so looking forward to it
