I studied cello in Maurice Gendron's class for a year at the Conservatoire in Paris, back in the late Sixties or early Seventies. Although he was a wonderful cellist indeed, I left after a year, because he took what I perceived to the wrong sort of interest in me, and it made me quite uncomfortable.
I love Maurice Gendron - but this video is not synchronous to the music, it must be playback using the recording of Schumann/Tschaikowski with Christoph von Dohnanyi and the Wiener Symphoniker. Nevertheless impressing.
