It takes a FULL ORCHESTRA to play this and he did it all on a guitar. How can you not bow down to him. He is beyond amazing. This is truly music to the ears and soul.
Incredible... his skill, his intensity, his output of videos!! He memorizes these pieces!!! I am totally blown away by this young man. Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well done..i'm 54 and i think it would take me about 54 yrs to learn that song..great interpretation. the execution and passion were phenominal // it feels like ravel was right there with you
The Bolero is one of my favourites among the classics. The concept behind it seems so simple and straightforward that it gives an impression of a piece written for children. But it's so powerful, energetic, and magnificent. May the force be with you, Sungha! (... and with us all :)) Thank you!
I'm literally stunned, Sungha! Ravel?? Bolero??? It's a piece consumate with vibrance and depth that few musicians truly capture in their lifetimes. Orchestras are known to work at it for months and fail. And you've captured it on guitar, solo, (and not even *your* guitar), playing it as if you've known it all your life. You, young man, are a phenomenon!
Sungha, you are one of the most versatile guitar player I've heard. I'm so impressed, your skill development is amazing!! Further on, all the best for you, Agustin
Last time I heard this song was when the British Pair Figure skating won the Olympic championships back in 1971. This is Bravo for Sungha. You play brilliantly indeed, keep up the good work, the world love you. Thanks for playing and bring back the memory....
What I love about subscribing to Sungha is that every time he releases a new video I am able to see his technique improve; the complexities and rhythm improvement are quick, agile, and expertly executed. It's like an on going story of musical genius in development. Also he is from South Korea, one of the few places I have traveled in the world where kindness and respect are still valued. Bless Koreans, and there wonderful kimchi, kimbop, dok bok ee, and GALBI ZOMG! DELICIOUS!
what can i say? i love this kid. supremely arranged by Kotaro Oshio and beautifully played by Sungha. it's amazing to see him progress and i'm looking forward to seeing him mature into his full potential. it'd be great to see him take on pieces like chaconne.
I do not believe that anyone can seriously click on the thumbs down button to any of this young man's videos. They are all phenomenal. Thumbs up an infinite number of times.
Alberteacher comments: How impressed at the talent of this young guitar player...awesome!, inspiration for the mind and soul. Congratulations and thanks for sharing it with the world.
Yet again you have managed to raise the level of your performance Sungha ! It is such an honour to be able to view a guitar player of your quality and I hope and pray you never give up ! Keep it up young fella !
What an amazing talent God has gifted you with. Make the most of it!! Beautiful song, absolutely incredible playing!! Look forward to more videos!!! God bless you!!
This young man is simply too phenomenal! He will the be the Acoustic Guitar God of the years 2017 - ???. Such attention to tone and detail and articulation and every skill a guitarist should have. Keep it up dude!
I really hope you enjoy playing guitar and have a passion for it. You are truly amazing to play with this kind of technique at this age. All the practice shows. I truly enjoyed your performance of this piece. Hope to see more from you in the future.
As soon I saw Bolera and Sungha together I knew this was going to be amazing. Beautiful song played by a brilliant guitarist...Sungha just shows everyone what a beautiful instrument the guitar can be.
what a beautiful piece! i guess he heard kotaro play this amazingly so naturally he had to hop on the same band wagon. (i'm not dissing. i happen to love both guitarists immensely) i truly look forward to witnessing Sungha blossom even further as a guitarist. he's so young...and in time i feel he'll simply be untouchable.
Great ! What a really courageous and successful experiment, to play this orchestral music on a single steelstring guitar. Having enjoyed many of your amazing recordings in the last years, this one is a really special surprise.
Beautiful you don`t play with your brain you are playing this song with your soul, this is amazing beutiful, you are born for the guitar, for the music!!!! Iplay guitar too, but you are master!!!
Been watching your vids for a few years, and you've been fantastic the entire time... but your recent stuff just shows how amazingly good you've gotten as a player, have a lot more musical depth and are played really tightly. great work!
I bet I've posted half a dozen times on this video. An inspired arrangement, epic playing. There are more videos after this of Sunga playing this and he hasn't surpassed this performance.
