What a beautiful video of an incredible adventure! Thank you for sharing it and inspiring me to travel and discover new wonders if the world. Mauritius looks fantastic.
hiiiiii! amazing video! I have one question: do you have the contact of the business that you contract to swim with the Sperm Whales? I travel this September to Mauritius. thank you so much!!
I thought you are only allowed to swim with whales in Mauritius if you are researching with permit or filming with special permission? Otherwise it is illegal? 😮
Hi @DreamTeamTravels awesome and beautiful video. Any chance that you share the tour guide contact information or some information how you found this guide? Happy to receive some information from you!
There is lots of tours and guides there that do this. You can ask your hotel or host and they can recommend. We actually went with two different people and both times it was amazing and unique. ❤️
Hi! After we published the video, we discovered that swimming with whales in Mauritius is discouraged. Just something to keep in mind, if you're thinking about it. If you still want the guide's contact search for mauritius_with_bart on IG. 🐳 Thanks for watching!
This is the type of trip I enjoy. I like wildlife and could spend a month swimming with the whales, but I also like nature and culture. I think the festival is better than the waterfall. Which company did you do each activity with, especially the whales?
Thank you so much for watching 🤍 we are delighted you enjoyed the video ! For swimming with whales we highly recommend @mauritius_with_bart. They are definitely the best! And they flight we did with @lagoonflight, but you have to book with them a few months ahead. Everything else we did by ourselves but every hotel offers guided tours there. Enjoy your time in Mauritius 🇲🇺🤗
hi, great movie! We`ll be there in 1 month. Can I ask you how much did it cost to swim with whales? And did you book on the site or online in advance? Thanks
Hey! Are you renting a hotel? There are so many tour groups for whales, even if you ask your hotel or Airbnb they will recommend you someone. Mauritius is very beautiful and you should be able to find a good tour easily
Yes, we are renting a hotel😊.. I'm asking for contact info because I'd rather use your recommendation than tripadvisor or any site like that... At the moment I trust you more than Staff at the hotel😂 thanks
@martinbrown9692 could you kindly let me know the link you booked? I can't find the diving center that offers swimming with the whales. Some diving center said it totally prohibited..
Hi! Would you mind to email us for the details? Because it’s the private number of the guide and we don’t feel like sharing it openly on the Internet 😊 and the flight we did with lagoonFLIGHT. It was amazing !
Kind of strange that when you google Mauritius the first thing you see is swimming with whales excursions. If this is illegal shouldn't they stop all the people in your country selling this? How would a tourist know if its illegal? Now I feel like your governate is corrupt and they say its illegal but probably get money on the side from all the people selling the excursions. Its literaly the #1 thing your country offers. Don't blame tourists for not knowing your laws.
@@samanthafinnie3450 Not Knowing isnt a great Response, it is in fact illegal and for a good reason. The whales get stressed by the boats and the humans and might leave this place forever if people keep making bullshit for their own Joy and fame.
Hello! I am are very interested in snorkeling with sperm whales, but I've had difficulty finding information online about places or agencies that offer this experience. Could you please share where you booked your trip or the name of the agency you used? Thank you very much for your help!

As we were told the best time to come is June - August as they have humpback whales 🐋 during these months. And sperm whales are all year around there. We paid 3000 Rs per person. Hope you’ll also see a lot of whales 🤗
The mountain u climb has a name and it's mt bravan and i dont to buy a flight to Mauritius 🇲🇺 ❤ as i live there im a maurian and there is the prof there are 9 District flacq is the biggest District Port - Louis is the smallest District ok ....😊 learn it more with Google ok.
This is illegal. But humans will do anything to fulfill their dreams even if that means disrupting a wild animal… And don’t tell me you didn’t know, you don’t do a little research of the places before you go?! People that see this and call it beautiful clearly don’t know how much it affects the whales behaviour, these animals are suffering already from other human activities, let them be! Typical human behaviour…
If it’s so illegal and prohibited why the entire country doesn’t ban it? Google Mauritius and whales and the first 50 results are whale watching and diving. Not a single one says don’t do it it’s illegal. Also from the video it doesn’t really seem they dived. They just got in the water next to the boat which is pretty much the same as just sticking a camera into the water.
We usual don’t respond on comments like this, but well, this topic went too far. “Do a little research of the places before you go”… well do your own research. If someone is making the video about the country, yes, they do the research. And well, we didn’t see that swimming with the whales was prohibited. You know what we saw, hundreds of advertisements of swimming with the whales. Starting from internet offers, than the airport, hotels, locals .. swim , swim, swim. So how this forbidden thing is so advertised on the island? We found out about the fact that it is forbidden only after we posted the video. So maybe it’s not so forbidden and it’s the question to the government? We are not proud about what we did. But we don’t like arrogant people who accuse others.
@@DreamTeamTravels because its such an unknown fact that entering an animals habitat will disrupt it... Its not like scientists have been talking about it for years or anything. The first thing that came up when I googled "Swimming with whales in the Mauritius" was this: It is forbidden to swim with whales in Mauritius. It's unfortunate that some charter boats allow people to swim with whales, but it's not advised because it can disrupt the whales' behaviour. And if you were truly sorry about doing it, you would've put this video down or at least change the description so that people could see that this is actually illegal, but instead your video is encouraging people to do it. Now, maybe I sounded arrogant but at least Im not a hypocrite. Have a nice life.
Maybe this fact is known for you. I’m glad you are so educated. We were making the video about Mauritius. The first thing that popped up during our research was swimming with whales. The first thing that was promoted to us when we got to the island was swimming with whales. We did it. Because it was very well advertised. Delete the video? You must have never made the video in your life. Because it’s another topic. It’s months of work. And video is not only about whales. And if you could notice we never respond on the questions when people ask us about what company we used. So we are not promoting. Enjoy your happy life too!
