Awareness is the absolute's action. The undefined, unwandered, unknown and always mysterious absolute just ejaculates without being able to avoid it and then everything start to flow. The flow is creation, creation is awareness, and awareness is will. Here's no unity, but also there's no separation. Not a one, not many. No flow, no stasis. To get to this is impossible and it is even harder to maintain this unknowing. Words are always fuzzy. It is just there, here...
+truksi: Yes, it lays out a certain perspective very simply and systematically. That's doubtless misleading in its own way . . . but you gotta start somewhere and a clear, simplified start is a good foundation for further exploration and discussion.
Is he saying that the wavelength of any specific color or frequency of any sound does NOT exist unless there is a conscious mind there to "experience" it?!?! It sound like he is stating that as his presupposition to build on.
Wave lengths exist but not colour or sound, they only exist as an interpretation by the brain. A shape can only be seen as a contrast to a background, I doubt that an ant can see a sky scraper but it can see a grain of sand without seeing the whole beach. We are born and exist in duality, it's where the action is, behind awareness is a dark featureless desert of nothing, I see no reason to fall into it or to desire it, we will get there sooner or later. Here is good enough for me, we are all here to do what we are all here to do, let causality run its course.
Listening to Mauro gave me my first spontaneous awakening. Old I disappeared for 3 days..this is the truth that is being described or it certainly feels like it. Thanks Mauro..Bravo
+Christopher Grossmith: Good question. What if . . . you don't use the term "unconscious" but instead always use "sub-conscious" (?) Does that account equally well for everything you mean by "unconscious" (?) I think that's a perspective that's often adopted. In that case . . . it's still "conscious", just in a different way.
He’s using the past to describe the now. Hearing, seeing, feeling all interpreted through the accumulated knowledge of man. In the absence of that knowledge you’d have no way of experiencing anything at all. You are not really experiencing anything anyway. You are experiencing what you know about it. Even what “you” know as you is inseparable from that knowledge. Thought is time. Thought creates the space. What is thought? You’ll never know. You can only “think” you know as you only have thought to use as a tool to attempt to understand anything. More empty words and empty phrases. Just words and a mess of semantics.
+Ferdinand Alexander: You read this somewhere, didn't you (?) And now you're repeating it as if it's conclusive. Don't you see what a fool that makes you seem (?) Aren't you embarrassed to be so simplistic and lazy (?)
+greenrate Everything I say came from somewhere else. You're not using any words that are inherently your own. You don't have any original take on anything. The only difference between me and you is that I'm honest. I'm using these words to describe the way I see it. If this is the way it is then the chances are very good that someone else described it in a very similar way.
It seems to me you forget something that make the difference. Once you "wake up" to your true nature, there is a shift of perception and the way you perceive changes. Therefore the way you experience the "world"changes. it is not what you thought you were that perceive but this "thing" that we are. Of course once you have to talk about it you need to use words, concepts ( or knowledge) but these are just pointers, not the moon.
