@@avixs1543 Well "powerful sounding" is determined by the acoustics of the environment and microphone used. I said that comment because that firearm would've sounded about the same as any other in-person.
Toys indead, well said, as if that would be any sort of protection against government drones etc.. don't mind people wanting guns but can we all be honest here? 👍
I had a firing version made with a parts gun made up from original and Chinese copy parts fitted. It was a great shooter in 7.62x25mm Tokarev instead of 7.63x25mm Mauser. It is fun to take my DL-44 Blaster to the outdoor range and fire tracers. The tracers are getting very hard to find. Half of my stash is reloads I made from demilled components.
The higher velocity achieved from more time for the gasses to build up behind the projectile along the length of that barrel will probably give the 9mm a slightly flatter trajectory too....the thing is practically a carbine (albeit without a stock).
Now imagine >The Black 10 >10mm auto >Threaded muzzle for .40S&W subs >Detachable mags like the Star/Astra clones, glock or other available pattern >illegal in california Everything you could want in a gun
Why did I have to be of legal age to be a gun owner when surplus started really drying up. Everyone and their mom had a luger in the 80s, C96 weren't that rare either. Now they're 2k+
This Mauser, Parabellum,P38 and revolver Nagant are the most iconic, the most beautiful, the most lethal and charismatic. This is a classic, friends...
@@AwkwardKyle it's still the highest damaging handgun but other than that it's shit, takes way too much space, longest reload time, slowest fire rate, and the stock is essential if you're playing on controller cause otherwise the weapon sway and bloom is crazy, it is heavily nerfed compared to the og.
@@MISTAH.Xagreed. The strongest firepower for Handgun is the only good thing for this gun in the Remake. What makes it worst is the accuracy of it is trash
@@superiorgaming8086 what makes it worst is the firing rate is also shit. In the original you can stagger and also finish the boss fast. But in the remake, its another story
My dad has one of these, a shame he never maintained it, it's so broken to the point where it goes full auto just by pressing the trigger once, I always wanted one of these but they are so expensive, but I see your's is very well maintained!
@fikriarieska8450 To be honest, I believe it's a bad sear, one trigger pull, and all of the rounds go, I never shot it, however, so I'm not too sure, he just told me it was "broken and dangerous to shoot"
@@ilikepotato2741 it was used by the SS, and it was not the prototype. They was widely used. M712 Schnellfeuer was made in 1932. Had a remowable box magazine. 10 and 20 shot box magazine. Single and full auto. 900 shots per min.and of course a holster/rifle stock. As they all had. And in caliber 7.63mm Mauser. The fastest handgun round in the world before the357Mag was made. But still the fastest pistol round.
You should’ve seen an anime schoolgirl wearing an eyepatch along her friends who had those Mauser pistols. “Love Chunibyo & Other Delusions”. The schoolgirl with the eyepatch is Rikka Takanashi.
Most "Red 9s" you now see originally were 7.63 C/96s with pitted bores that were re-chambered for 9mm. I had one and it wasn't relelaible. Bought a 7.63 Bolo instead. Love it.
There should bea Prussian eagle on the front of the mag well, they should have a 500 meter back sight for the heavier bullet, the serial number range is way too high. Most are 5 digit numbers. Never past the 100000 serial number rangeMine being in the 85000 range. His grips don't have enough scallops they are aftermarket which Is usually the worst way to tell anyways because alot of genuine red9s had broken grips because the broomhandle grips cut so many scallops they broke easily, so aftermarket grips don't cut as many. His follower could or could not be scalloped, mine is not, they also scallopd followers on the 9x23mm export mausers. And there are a few other ways to tell right now I can't quite remember but that's just off the top of my head.
There are no variations of this gun in .357 magnum, as that cartridge wasn't invented until later on. The Highest velocity cartridge at that time was 7.62x25 Mauser, which was what this gun was primarily chambered in.
Not .357, but there were chinese copies made in .45 ACP during the warlord era. Forgotten Weapons has a video on them. I'd love to fire one, if I didnt think there was a good chance the thing woukd explode in my hands.
The only other bottleneck pistol cartridge at the time were the 8mm nambu which would have been fine for this type of acti9n or the 7.63 tokarev which was deminesionally the same as Mauser ammo but hot as hell and will break your Mauser. 7.63 Mauser being a step up from 7.63 borschardt. But these guns aren't all that well suited for high round counts as the bolt basically runs into a bolt plug in the back that gets battered over time. That's why if you get an all matching gun or older 9mm one it's best to replace the boltstop and firing pin
Everyone is quoting RE4, but how many games has this gun appeared in? How many more was this design used as a basis for a fictional gun? Truly legendary. Personally? I like using it in the WW1 game series, and It looked interesting in Bioshock infinite, even if that wasn't the most accurate depiction of it.
