MAV Rails - MDmot's around Debrecen - Sept 2005 

Debrecen is in Eastern Hungary, close to the Ukraine border. In September 2005, a group of us took a visit here to sample some of the railway action available. It turned out that Debrecen would be the last stronghold of the MDmot train sets. Although seemingly a multiple unit, as you will see (and hear) from this video, they were very rateable trains to catch. Unfortunately, the reliability of these venerable trains declined in their latter years, hence the use of an M41 as traction at the beginning of this video.
