You can control the gimbal while it flys. At each waypoint, set gimbal pitch to manual. Thank you for all your great content.

How do you deal with the fact that the 3X camera is a fixed F2.8 lens and the main camera has aperture controls? The main camera is sharpest around F4.5 to 5.6, and for example, on a sunny day, I would normally be using them in the ND16 filter to keep my shutter, speed and frame weight at the 180° rule- 2x the frame rate. If you’re going to be switching back-and-forth between the main camera and the 3X camera, do you then just keep the MAIN at F2.8 so you can use the same ND filter or do you have slightly different shutter speeds for the two lenses? That’s assuming that you don’t want to come and land to change your ND when you change cameras. Which is the point of having the multiple cameras on the one drone… I’m just gotten my M3 Pro and I’m trying to figure out practical strategies in filming

Great video! I also would love this drone, if they only would add controll of sharpness and noise reduction. The main camera is quite oversharpend sometimes, even in dlog with strong noise reduction.

Thank you for this review! I currently fly with the Air 2. It has been my little workhorse since I got it when it was released. It is defiantly time for me to upgrade, and I am really on the fence between the Pro 3 and the Air 3. I mostly do real estate photography, but recently I have had clients ask for video. The Air is half the price of the Pro, and I am just gauging if it would be worth it for my small business to go with the Pro. My question is do you think that the camera on the Pro is so much better than the Air 3 to justify the price? Thanks again, great video!

It is much better, but air 3 in my opinion would be totally enough for what you do! I only use Mavic 3 pro for bigger commercial type shoots now. for real estate air 3 will be just fine!

A cool drone, for serious tasks, I have a mini 3 pro and am still a beginner in this business, but I am very happy, ji has more Air 3 novelties that can become the second on the path of evolution for me

Air3 would be the perfect upgrade from mini 3 pro. That 70mm is the same as on the 3 pro and it's great!

Great video! You can use the cruise control mode, thats almost like the course lock feature: You can "lock" the controller inputs and the drone will keep flying in the direction and at the consistent speed of the saved joystick inputs + you can control the camera. But I will contact DJI and tell them that they should redirect the idea of the new waypoint mode to the "firmware team", I will also link your video :D Edit: Btw, I also bought the Mavic 3 Pro and I love it! (And i am currently selling my normal Mavic 3)

I have the Classic and just bought the Mavic Pro 3. I have used waypoints with the Classic and was able to 'fine tune' each waypoint after seeing how the first flight went. If say Waypoint #6 needed the gimble to pan up another 5º, once I set and flew the path...it fixed the #6 waypoint. I can't remember all the things I could fix but gimble, zoom, I believe yaw and even separate speeds between each waypoint. So...did the Mavic 3 Pro lose this option?

My main gripe with this is that Mavic 3 pro is more than capable to do waypoint’s with manual camera control. Of course you can fine tune the waypoint mission by making 30 points and get a good shot, but sometimes something else is happening in the shot and you can’t manually adjust your camera.

With Mavic 3 Pro you are not allowed to fly so close to people than with the regular Mavic 3 or Mavic 3 Classic. I know you don't care about the rules but some day you will get fined.

That shot with the people was with the 166mm lens. I was behind the bariers. There were drone police in that event and everything was good. So no worries. I do care about rules. :)
