Hi, I have the Mavic Air 2 and try using 4K 60P but when i run it on my Windows 10 it cannot display when it was shot on 265 but play with gitter like stop and go on 264. what should i do. the footage is nice but cannot play like a movie. when i use the Hero 8 set to 4K60...it plays very well. is it my computer or something wrong ? I have not use the 1080P on Air 2 yet but I will try. the Cash 1080 that i download onto my phone play well on every clips that i shot in 4K60P. What do i do ? Can i process it by using an application ? I down loaded a plug-in to take care of playing the 4K60P265 from Microsoft but it still not come out smooth. Help please. thank you so much.
Good question! 4K 60 is what I consider semi slow motion because it’s still higher frame rate than 24 and double that of 30.. so it would be 2x slow motion. 120 is 5x and 240 is 10x slow motion 👍 I hope that helps
Are you using compressor to upload your videos to RU-vid? Your quality is outstanding. When I try, my video quality drops. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thx!
Great footage Very impressed with the 1080 footage. I have a M Air 1 and was thinking of upgrading and your footage has made my mind up. I always had to use 1080 as my PC cannot handle 2.7 or 4k when editing. Probably need to upgrade there as well 😜 thanks again. B.
Great footage Devin, can i ask mate,im very new to this and somewhat lost tbh so "Bone question" coming up, when you produce a video incorporating different speeds, to do that do you have to change the settings in app whilst flying or do it in Post later, Hope that made sense man. Again thanks for a cracking tutorial hopefully sometime the proverbial penny will drop haha. Be safe dude and thank you.
Thanks! I appreciate it! Good question.. you will have to select what frame rate you want to select while flying through the app.. then on the computer in post you need to conform your footage to your timeline so If your final video is going to be on a 23.976 just conform your clips to match your timeline. I hope that helps and makes sense ✌️
@@devinjtatro Thanks for the reply Devin, So does that mean that say a video similar to above using for example normal speed 25fps(i'm in UK),slo-mo say 50fps,and super slo-mo say 120 fps, I would change the frame rate whilst flying in app ,then back indoors put the clips on a 25fps timeline? Told u I was Thick haha
Maybe a little off topic, but I've had a lot more look editing the footage from my mavic air to then with my GoPro 7 + 8. How do you slow down video from your GoPro 240 frames per second and get it to show smooth slow motion? When I translate it looks herky-jerky. When I play it directly from the GoPro through the HDMI to my TV slow motion looks great. Not so when I edit it. I'm using Vegas professional but I'm guessing the commands on Adobe Premier would be similar. Help.
Hi mate, great content! I have a question for you. I own MAVIC Air2 however my slow motion is nothing like this quality. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.
Thanks! Yeah, I could do one on that. Just how I do things? Getting started and basic stuff? There is just so much to go over and I learn more each day.
Yeah, I think it might be pretty helpful. I'm still pretty new to editing and was actually making my timelines 60 fps and not till recently was interpreting the footage to 23.976 fps etc. You don't have to show the WHOLE process and how you color grade etc but just some little pointers like that would go a long way especially for beginners I bet. I absolutely love the content you make and keep up the awesome work!!!
is it youtube compression or something but the 4k 60p looks pretty average, like there is macro blocking and line skipping going on? The 120 and 240 don't look that useable in my opinion
Great video, thanks. Boating shots are tough with the dark water and white surf. Usually leads to the highs being completely blown out. I wonder how the HDR of the MA2 would handle the high dynamic range scene... I want to upgrade to MA2S BUT the MA2S does not have 240 fps and does not have HDR.
Hi Devon, my older Mac book pro will not handle the .265 codec on the MA2. My MBP is 8 years old. Do you know what year MBP can handle the .265 codec? I would like to buy used if it would work. Thanks
Hey, sorry you are having issues with that codec on your MacBook Pro.. I would recommend something 2015 or 16 or newer. I have a 2015 Mbp and seems to handle it fine.
I have the ma2 and it seems to be very grainy at 240fps unless there’s a ton of light. I wish they would’ve put this in my p4p I think the 1” sensor would performed better
If you refer back to an the mavic air 2 commercials by DJI, their 240/120 shots look soo much better (In quality) than what you can realistically get out of the drone. To me it seems a little dis ingenuous.
Nice bro..I like Higher frame rate but my computer can't do in editing..I think I need 16gb ram and higher videocard.. my loptop is only i7 8gb Ram videocard 920mb only..I use DaVinci resolve but in editing it take long time when footage in higher frame rate...that's why for now I use 4k 30frame rate only in my mavic air 2..soon if my Loptop can upgrade I will shot 4k60fps..thanks for sharing. Great video..
DaVinci Resolve is extremely demanding on the graphic card- I cannot do much with my powerful tower computer with 64GB of Ram with DVR due to my old GPU
Not sure why the gag it at only 120fps1080p on the Air2S, as for the user that just want slow-mo out of the box and no postedit, which I reckon are most users.. that 240fps1080p does make way more useful, as 120fps1080p is simply not slow enough. For what it is.. a freaking consumer drone, at the prices it is being sold for with FlyM.. I reckon it looks good ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zRfRoF0slDQ.html Why it wasn't ported to Air2S.. I don't know.. likely the same SoC and it cant handle it with a bigger sensor. , perhaps also why we didn't saw that wicked HDR in Air2S. bummer, as Im quite impressed with it on Air2 and its ablelity to keep high & lows in check, even at a sunset.. more or less the only one maintaining the body of the sun without choking the foreground...
@@devinjtatro For me the music and voice were perfectly fine, I've seen these kind of complains on !y videos in the past but I think is a problem of some mobile devices that are configured with more treble that pushes the music to sound louder
Sorry, mid day sun/ harsh lighting m and changing frame rates on the fly I didn’t use any ND filters. Hopefully you can still see the point of the video.
