In this video I fit all the electronics needed for the battery mod under the factory cap. I use an ATTINY85 AVR microcontroller as the brain.
I also test the flight time with some other cells in the battery pack.

I use organic core, water-soluble flux, solder. Rinse in warm/hot water and it is sparkling clean.

I just subscribed to your channel. Great job with the Atmel microcontroller. That kind of information interests me. Is it possible to test more than two battery cells for a longer flight time? The weight limit of 250 grams doesn't bother me. Possibly attach two more cells at the bottom of the belly? EDIT: I just saw you did it in a newer video already, I will watch it now.

Hello Zolly, At first thanks for the nice video. i have a battery that came to me with the controller disconnected from it. now i understand the hole proces you are doing, but i have one question. How did you program the microcontroller, and is it possible to program it with a arduino uno?

Hi! Thanks! :) I did program it with another Arduino yes. I will make video on that as well at a later point. Otherwise just look around here in RU-vid for programming Attiny with Arduino. :)

Is there any way to start the servo or light the led with the remote control? Maybe there's a hidden free pin that you can plug into? It would be interesting

Are you reading my mind? I am looking into that exactly. I want to implement some remote controlled functions to the drone, like flashlight, strobe, or even a cargo drop. I am working on DIY solutions on those subjects. ;)

Great video again! I love my Mini 2, but I don't like the slow in-drone charging when I 'm traveling. Takes forever! Would be great to have a faster in-drone charging hack! Can you do it 😉?

Hi! I am in the process of getting access to a Mini2. It will take some time, but I will try to hack that too. Let´s see what I can come up with... ;) As for the FIMI X8 I have to admit I have no idea. I would need to have one to check!

Just use my software to mod the BMS, and you don't even need to modify the BMS. :) Very easy to do.

Zolly thanks. I can tell you there is no one who can bypass the dji auth (battery type 1) .. i can make a cloned device but only from original ti chips.. not possible with microchips.. you can contact me, I have something for ya, you might be interested
