You do know that LiPo's don't like a full discharge. You may have damaged your battery with this awesome video. LiPo's want about 20% charge left in the battery to retain the right voltage.
Battery is now at 260 cycles and no issues. The percentage you see on the screen is not actual capacity. At 0% the cell voltages are at 3.4v under load which is still safe for lipo's. If you drop below 3v you can say goodbye to your battery. I have 3 batteries and they all have around 260 cycles with countless times being run down to 10% and I still get 22min flight time out of them.
Okay, that's new for me. Does the same count for the Phantom 3 advanced battery's? Or is this a new feature? I always quit flying with abt 25% battery left.
Lekker video 😁👍🏼 I’ve got a Spark and I’ve been thinking of either getting this Platinum with the Fly More package, or getting the Mavic 2 Pro but then it will just be with one battery. The Platinum seems very impressive enough. Maybe it’s the better choice with the extra batteries? Interesting reading about the % vs the Voltage. I must look into that a bit more.
Did you have to hold the UP control to avoid the auto land. I nearly lost a Spark over the sea and only read afterwards that I had to override the auto landing by doing that.
That depends on use and maintenance. My 3 batteries are 19 months old and all 3 have about 300 cycles on them and the age are starting to show in flight time and performance, not as responsive as it was new.
