I am ever so happy for Mark Geyer, a proud moment and a measure of the time and effort and love he has put into his family. I watched his career develop and admired his extraordinary commitment on the field, he played to his best standard all the time - young and fit, strong and handsome. He was as tough and as brave as they come, during a period when several of the country's best forwards played. I would never have predicted his success in the fields in which he has forged his path - communications and people - but I am not surprised. His Order of Australia was well deserved - not bad for a young tearaway from Penrith. You have much to be proud of Mark.
Great words by the big man. Hard work pays off and it's great to see a young bloke have such a great start and be enthusiastic. it's scary how much young talent the Panthers have coming through the ranks.
YesSiRr!! Now this is Bloody Awesome!! Like Father Like Son!! Sometimes it's TRUE... that the APPLE doesn't FALL far from the Tree!! Congratulations Big Fella.. and All the Best going forward!! P.s... PLEEEZ keep the NRL STUFF COMING!!
Great moment. But it was one game, and it was a trial against the sharks without a lot of their front line talent. He didn’t have to beat a tackle for his try he just had to run. Everyone is blowing this way out of the water.
Considering his dad is a Geyer and his mum is an Alexander there's always going to be that extra hype, attention and hope he goes well. He's now played NRL and on the Panthers video he paid tribute to his uncle Ben very moving.
