Crazy to see how the pace of 1s has sped up over the last year. Khalid’s ground game and joeruz style really changed 1s i feel like.

Some people in chat (And even in comments) are disrespecting mawkzy, mawkzy can beat anyone right now Its just a fact, instead of appreciating khalid for his playstyle they only appreciate him if he wins so they start making excuses, and those absurd excuses seems to be like "Its true that he lost but actually he didn't because he's not a 1s main anymore" or any stupid arguments like this, im only saying this because im a fan of both players and would not disrespect one of them to justify the lose of the other, just enjoy the games.

Nice showmatch, Okhalid looked pretty robotic in the 5 and 6th matches like the old times, sadly he was making too many mistakes overall in the series and Mawkzy was crazy efficient in taking advantage of them, also, he made things awkward in the corner walls for Okhalid. Also, his wavedash kickoffs really put him in good positions most of the time, I hope Okhalid starts using them in his own gameplay, honestly it's high time. Best of luck to both.

I remember when Scrub once said in one of his 1v1 videos, quite a while ago, "This guy (Mawkzy) is the most threatening 1v1 player. Not joreuz, not anyone else, but Mawkzy," or something to that effect. His strength lies in dominating positions most players would consider awkward and hard to navigate through, as well as a quick recovery that lets him get away with being too aggressive in said positions and keeps players with slower recoveries like oKhalid (by only a small margin, but still consequential nonetheless) from punishing his over-extensions. Khalid's problem is that his mechanics, namely in both recoveries and goalline saves into his own crossbar or backboard, are too simplistic. It's just a simple flip devoid of any extra air roll to aid a faster recovery, nor does he prioritize saving the ball at a certain angle so as to put it in a difficult spot for Mawkzy to follow up on. I can't exactly describe it, but Mawkzy's recoveries were shorter and his saves put the ball in positions that made it impossible for Okhalid to continue his offence fast enough to outdo Mawkzy's recoveries.

I feel like Okhalid is going to learn wave dash kickoffs immediately after this show match. He has always shown he can adapt and I think he might have to now. Also happy for Mawksey to not allow his previous losses as a disappointment in his journey. Well played.

You know how excited I am to see Khalid just pull the trigger? He clearly can still generate the same power off the bounce dribbles that he’s famous for. I think Johnny is right - he needs to just shoot more instead of the mind games. Ggs though, very entertaining match!

Mawkzy has a bunch of noticeable habits in his play (as anyone does obviously) but it just took Khalid too long to make changes to adapt to them and even then it mostly just turned it into a fair match at that point.

Honestly even though Okhalid lost he proved he's still one of the best, if he focused on 1s I have no doubt he could be the best again. Joreuz on the other hand just seems to always win. He stole a game 7 from Mawkzy when Mawkzy was the best in the world and breaking the 1v1 mmr record..

Another defensive and possession master class from okhalid... gets absolutely thrown because okhalid, instead of flicking (?), gets dunked by the keeper on the goal line (???) and concedes the next 15 sec (!!!!!!!!!!), so many times it actually consistently loses him games (?!?!?!?!?!?!?!). Seriously, Okhalid which I used to look up to, must see this issue. It's happened in other showmatches as well. It's a matter of returning to the top of 1v1, or to get beat by temporary's such as mawkzy.
