How can they not trip an silent alarm in that penthouse/condo even though Caroline's home is on lockdown while her father is serving time at a maximum prison.... I'm betting Caroline would go there to revel in her past being rich, just to bask and reminisce and be out of there before the cops gets wind of the break in.. I'm sure they cut off the alarm or silent alarm also..
In cases like this, an inventory could have been done when they froze and seized everything. If something was missing, it would get known and the girls could be in big trouble, because the prime suspect would be Caroline. What she owns cost a lot, and that's money for the creditors. What she grabbed though, is personal and has technically no value if sold, because it's made for her teeth and her teeth only. She could also explain at worse, if caught why she went back and to get that.

@@vishakhamadan4747 Carolines father was a financial scammer. If I remember correctly he set up a snowball system. I think he got sentenced to jail for 700! years and all his fortune got confiscated.
Max knew how rich Caroline was ... she was overacting when she saw the room and especially bathroom ... she can get amazed but the way she was acting looked like she has never seen any movies or TV shows
It’s one thing to know someone was rich before or seen it on TV. But it’s not the same in person, esp coming from someone with Max’s background. So I don’t think it’s overacting that her initial reaction was a bit stunned.
An Hw the reaction was surely not stunned ... she was SCREAMING... I know her character is usually loud but still it was surely way too much over reaction
