I’ve always been intrigued by Max Beckmann’s work - the black outlines around very vivid colors, the compressed space, the triptychs format, and, most of all - the weird subject matter with scenes of torture, bondage, and strange symbols. After watching this video, in its entirety, I have a better understanding and appreciation for this amazing artist.
I can’t stand the comments quibbling about the AI voice or where the text comes from. People need to get a life for themselves! Either stay, enjoy, be quiet or complimentary, or leave! Good heavens it’s not that hard is it?
Excellent video! The narration is wonderful, insightful and informative and adds substantially to the enjoyment of Beckman's work. Not a second too long.
The primary recipients of the money from Beckmann's multi-million dollar sales today are the current owners of the artworks and the auction houses facilitating the sales. The distribution of funds beyond that depends on the individual circumstances and decisions of the sellers. Current owners may include private collectors who have acquired Beckmann's works over the years, as well as Art dealers or galleries that have purchased his paintings for resale, and also Museums or institutions that decide to deaccession Beckmann works from their collections As Max Beckmann died in 1950, his works are no longer under copyright protection in most countries. Therefore, his estate or heirs do not directly benefit from the sale of his artworks in terms of royalties or resale rights. In some cases, the proceeds from the sale of artworks by renowned artists like Beckmann may be directed towards charitable causes or cultural institutions. However, this depends entirely on the decision of the current owner and is not a standard practice.
@@arti-facts-4u I didn't ask that. I asked if the text was generated by AI. If not, where does it come from? Are you saying that you sat down and wrote it entirely yourself?
This video is good and all, but it's waaaaay too long. Videos when long like this can reach up to over 100 15 sec ads I have to sit through. :( You should consider cutting your videos down to just 20 minutes, this is doable, most people don't have the attention span to watch something over 2 minutes.
@@arti-facts-4u Excellent work. The length of this video was fine for me. Not everything on RU-vid need cater to the waaay too short attention span of "most people."
