Just a well designed track, look at spa, one of longest circuit of the season, still amazing

Especially in the rain! It’s definitely my third favorite race this season just behind Baku and USA

Incredible tracks are those that have varieties of elevation changes...some like spa, interlagos, austria, suzuka, catalunya, monaco. But a track that featured a long straight also needed an honorable mention like monza and silverstone

Maybe São Paulo leave F1 in 2021 because Rio De Janeiro Circuit made by Tilke's is talking to Liberty Media to host the Brazilian GP but i hope both track host F1 GP's like São Paulo as Brazilian GP and Rio as South American GP or something like this

The 10 second penalty seems harsh. Max could have left him a bit more space or rather overtake him at the next DRS zone but Mad Max just didn't like a backmarker overtaking him. If anything Max lost this race through his own fault.

One of few. But we have yet to find a person that actually has an argument as to why Ocon would not be to blame. Opinions can differ but the rules are very clear and he broke a few rules here. Ignored the blue flag at 16:04 which was in the race report as waved for Ocon. And in top try to race the leader when the rule is clear you are not allowed to interfere with the raceleaders pace. If you look at the full onboard from Ocon and see from how far back he came you will see this as a kamikaze move and you will probably switch camp.

He should never has put his car there that was the leaders line to take, anyone who knows anything about racing will know at that moment Verstappen was focused on his rhythm and eyes fixed on apex of T3. There was no reason to check the mirror that car should not have been there, he had been lapped twice I think.

The pace was on his side and he even asked for the team's permission. I don't know if he would've been able to pull away from Verstappen after the overtake. If not, then he probably shouldn't have tried to overtake. Ocon might have made the wrong decision. But Verstappen did close the door while Ocon was alongside him and that's dirty. @@hesto hesto you are comparing wrong laps. Max was one lap ahead so compare Max lap 43 with lap 42 count of Ocon. That is a 1.13.116 and a 1.12.876 for Ocon. So actually it is just 0.2 difference. He only did one of these laps. The lap after his pitstop lap before that. So based on one lap he decides he has the right to overtake as he is quicker? It was the DRS that brought him next to Max. It was intentional that he hit him. As he came from way too far back on the straight.l, was next to Max and could not make the move before the corner. Only option he had was back off. Max should not have to leave room as Ocon cannot fight for position. That is a very easy to understand rule. Just not for some

I find it quite baffling to say the least that Max is upset, that Ocon got a penalty, or why the fans are mad about someone unlapping themselves. I know this season has shown us there isn't much "racing" left in F1, but I would like to still believe that the cars are actually racing on the track, no matter what position they are in. I'm not a big fan of back markers pulling over and letting the leaders through, if it's a race let them pass them like any other car.
