I actually in all honesty love this interview. I love Billy Joel's music and Max did mention Bikly Joel twice on 'New Girl' because his character is from Long island NY
The only reason I watched New girls was because of his character, then, couple months ago I was looking for shows Max been on, found the neighborhood, I must say the show is absolutely amazing and it has to be acknowledged, we haven't had good comedy show in a very long time where you can just sit down to laugh for 20-30min straight.
The Neighborhood is mediocre at best, with forced laughs, lazy writting and overacting, which is quite a waste of the actors. Schmidt was my favorite character on New Girl, and even though I've given The Neighborhood many chances mostly because of Max, it's not a show I look forward to watching. 😔
@@Adroit1911 i laughed so hard at the episode where Jess and Cece volunteered to raise voting awareness, and Schmidt's OCD kicked in high gear with the kitchen drawer being a mess, and then sorting out mailing at the campaign center 😆. His reactions had me in tears and that's the Max I want to remember 😏
