For sure, he was flat and not his bubbly energetic self he has a lot on his mind. You can tell before he even asked the question at the end. My hearts and prayers goto the Hawaii people very sad.
@@awex7 The good news for you is that you statistically will live long enough to no longer be in either your teens or twenties (which I'd bet anything short of my house or my life that you are), and with that new age comes new perspectives which will likely erase your directionless anger and supplant it with compassion. Give it time, lil' bro. Life isn't done sculpting you yet. There's time for your character to shape up.
This man is a walking legend…he’s poetry in motion. Staying in the fight game for as long as he has been is in itself a testament of his character. His dedication and love for his people is second to none and a true man can wear his heart on his sleeve without the fear of ridicule and at the same time turn that emotion into the champion he is when he enters the octagon on Saturday. Max you are and always have been my favorite fighter and someday when you do retire your name will be right up there with all the greats. You are an innovator and a great ambassador for Mixed Martial Arts forever! Peace
I love Max so much man, the guy always wears his heart on his sleeve and is always so real and compassionate. It hurts to see him hurting the way he is but I really hope he knows that he has so much love and support from the MMA community. We’re all praying for Maui and the people there. One love ❤️
Best wishes to you islands.... sad when USA can send billions to Ukraine for a pointless war when their own states in so much need. I hope the Hawaiian people come through this stronger!
:( my heart breaks for the people in Hawaii. Prayers go out to everyone. Max has always been my favorite person and fighter in the UFC. He will always have my support.
Max is the epitome of a champion through and through. He carries himself in and out of the ring and shows compassion to his fellow Hawaiians. A killer on the outside, a gentlemen on the inside. Praying for your country's safe future.
Of all the ups and downs he’s had in his career, winning the belt, defending it, losing it and trying to regain it we’ve never seen emotion from Max like this. The love he has for his people is bigger than any personal/professional triumph or setback, what a man. I wish him and the people of Maui nothing but the best.
you’re the man Holloway, proud of you and your journey. You replied to me the night you first became champ. You were live on Twitch, I’ve been a fan since your first fights on UFC. Praying for everyone in Hawaii brotha 🙏🏻 goodluck on Saturday
Mahalo Max. Born and raised in Lahaina and have been following you from the start. Always appreciated how you represented Hawaii Nei with class and humility. I love how you are a great role model for the keiki of Hawaii. My Lahaina ohana mahalo you for representing us this weekend. Imua!!!!
I have the upmost compassion and respect for Max and the Hawaiian people. There's possibly nothing worse than watching your country literally burn to the ground, fellow countrymen and women losing their lives, complete natural destruction, homes lost, and governments failing to put precautionary practices into place (in Australia's case, state governments actively cutting funding from emergency response). Shit sucks, man. Aloha, Hawaii ❤️
This guy's realistic quotation about life, he's past tough life, and the way he is carrying himself in and outside the cage is inspiring. Love this guys for ever. Huwaii must be luckey to get such a good son of soil.
He is going to knock out zombie within the first 2 rounds he will make a statement for Hawaii i think this will be the best and most motivated Max Holloway we have ever seen
what a guy. funny how one of the most dangerous people alive and still able to wear his heart on his sleave in this horrible situation. i shead a tear for u to max and all the poor people affected by this! Stay Strong X
How can anyone not like Max? He's a awesome person. I wish his family, himself and all the Hawaiian's the best and hope they can recover soon. Also my condolences to all the people that lost someone to the fire.
