Max was winning that fight with 10 seconds left, he could've just thrown 2 jabs and won the fight no worries, there was no reason to give Gaethje a chance to win, and yet he still wanted to stand and bang with the hardest hitter at 155. Real BMF right there.

Both Max and Justin are special fighters and we're truly lucky to witness their level of warrior spirit. I have to admit though, I didn't see this fight going so well for Max.
This may be my favorite post fight press interview of all time. Love the respect and praise he heaps in Justin - “he was missing and when he missed the wind hurt me” “any lesser man wouldn’t have fought 5 rounds with a broken nose” (paraphrasing). And the story of how Justin took him around when he was first in Denver. Just pure class.

It was the performance of the night and not fight of the night. Don't know why people even underestimated Max considering his granite chin, footwork, volume, boxing and jiu jitsu. And the somewhat irony in Max doing to Gaethje who is turning 36 this year what Gaethje did to a 36 year old Tony in 2020...

I had Holloway winning this fight, but I was questioning my pick because of Gaethje's power. But MMA guru gave me a new perspective, Gaethje had never knocked out someone with his hands that was a notable opponent. THX MMA GURU.

I was not expecting that - AT ALL. Most people were expecting Max to get ripped apart like Ferguson but he absolutely shocked the world in the most dramatic way. Congrats brother
