His other two fights were close with him winning the second fight in my opinion. The third one he looked super off his game and Volk looked better than ever. And max never looked that bad again. U just never know all I’m saying

According to Tim Welch podcast who was doing a video study on past max Holloway fights, he said Holloway can get up to 180 pounds down time from fights. He ain't no small dude.
Topouria on Kevin's or an other podcast said max Holloway was big. Even bigger than gaethje who he just fought. So this is a sizable weight cut he endores.

I think Max might have been served better defending the BMF to lesser competition (Conor) than to lose to Illia. I know he'll technically still be bmf but it and himself will be a bit devalued at that point.
