A minuscule cut? Like a maybe a precise surgical incision...from idk maybe...surgery. That would be small, and stitched up, but could very easily open up a bit if you're digging it against a pitching rubber and pushing off of it all night (it was his right ankle). Honestly, if people take the time to look up that he had literal surgery before the game it's not hard to believe at all. Schilling being an absolute dumpster fire on social media, politically, and his personality in general have definitely increased the belief that its fake because people hate him. I don't even like the dude but I mean he had a documented ankle surgery on a tendon and then went out and used that exact body part over and over for 7 innings and 99 pitches.

@@DonHorvathIII yes, I said I wouldn’t be surprised. I didn’t say “it definitely happened this one particular way”. Could he have had surgery then added fake blood to play up the surgery? Sure. Could he have had surgery and then purposely messed with his stitches until he started bleeding to play it up? Sure. My real point was to bleed that little while playing a sport, the source must have been incredibly small. Have you ever started bleeding while playing basketball, etc.?
