Shirley and Jason had chemistry but I do hate how she’s always saying max every 5 minutes and everyone is always looking to max to lead them, like they can’t think for themselves.

They are better as friends not a couple they are toxic not healthy people need to start talking about that liz put max feelings and needs before hers and that's not ok ut was red flags in season 1 and season 2 he wasn't even treating her well the way he spoke to her manhandled her humiliated her in front of tess and Kyle like it was nothing and even when they got back together in the last season he still wasn't treating her well even liz said she wasn't feeling love from max they aren't soul mates i wish they kept her backbone and standing up for herself more with max if max really loved liz he would've never got tess pregnant and he would've never let her risk her own life and future to rob a store I'm no longer a max and liz fan i think liz only loved him because he saved her life i wish they allowed her to have the growth of realizing her and max are better as friends not a couple they are not good for each other they are not soul mates i know shiri says max and liz are the heart and soul of the show but they could've still been that even if they were just friends like wake up people they are toxic liz gave too much of herself to him
