Max is not strange, he is a once in a decade Wunderkind. His unique style underlines his unique playing. And finally, finally, we have a guitar master who doesn't only chase the fastest sweeps, like other 'guitar nerds'. There is so much soul in the slower parts and he plays melodies, not only running up and down the fretboard as fast as possible. I love him, and I cry for Russia. Cheers from Germany!

And many foreign talents come from foreign countries to get the best musical education in Moscow or St.Petersburg. Maybe it is only your name, but I get the impression of a Confederate State Redneck who doesn't even consider that you can have excellent education and career OUTSIDE from the 'Western World', the 'Free World' or the 'Good World'. @@silverdime3685 I used to say that about the guitarist from Metallica, Kirk Hammett, but then I heard a solo not knowing who the artist was, and it was incredible, and to my surprise it was from Kirk! Completely blindsided me. I don't talk that crap anymore!
@@sirzap7542 If he's talking about Yngwie Malmsteen then that's not the same thing. Kirk Hamster is ok when he works at it. But he is a lazy guitarist. Most of the stuff on the last two albums is pretty much sloppy pentatonics. Yngwie is all flash and ego. Technically brilliant, but in his own head he's a mate of Beethoven who thinks his music is amazing ( I kid you not ) There's no feel to it. It's like if Richard Benson could actually hit the notes he's aiming for.

I was thinking about that hairdo but if you can play that well you may have whatever hairstyle you want and still be cool as a fan in my opinion. Melody.. Shred.. And those harmonics are off the chain. I've played for years and try hard but listening to him play just makes me wanna trash my guitar. Lmao He's good.
The talent is undeniable.. it’s astonishing how good this young man is with the guitar.. it’s honestly absurd.. he’s already a legend whether any of us realize it yet or not.. extreme talent.. next level.. I hope he stays focused..
There is no such thing as 'talent'. No one is born more easily than others when it comes to learning (apart from one or two exceptions, geniuses like Bach are not even born once every 3 centuries...) Talent, if we can call it that, is just being more passionate than others which allows you to WORK more than others. This kid wasn't born like that, but one thing is certain: he must have worked 6 or 7 hours a day since he was little. In fact, talent is 'work', the amount of 'work' that we put into our practice. For example: if two people start playing the guitar (or other instrument) at exactly the same time, what will make one better than the other? Answer: work. period. Talent is desire, it is passion, and these two people who started at the same time as mentioned above, it is that where one has worked 3 hours/day, the one who will be better he is the one who will have worked 5-6 hours/day. This is what 'talent' is. PS: I don't say that unkindly, eh ^^ I remember that I too used the term 'genius' or 'talented' indiscriminately. I thought Paco de Lucia was a genius who had been recognized as such by his peers. And then one day, I took a closer look at his work and you know what I learned? I learned that he worked on his guitar between 10 and 12 hours/day of which 5-6 hours were devoted just to the scales (!!!), 6 hours of scales/day? I would go crazy first 😁 And since then, I stopped shouting 'genius' or 'talent' (although talent can take many forms but that's not what we're interested in here) Have a good end of the day and hello from France ;)

You hardly see shredders play an acoustic guitar. It's like their skill set will feel challenged. No effects to hide behind. Acoustics guitar is far more challenging to master. Develops your attack. He's a great guitar player. I'm in awe of his proficiency. He's there already. He plays with blazing speed yet slows down at times to emit passion. This young man gets it. I could go on and on about the little things he's doing right.

You aren't just classical like Beethoven. You don't Beethoven. The supreme musical genius does you. You get to play his music, because luckily that man existed. Although this boy is very good. You can't name a single musician alive or dead that comes close to Beethoven.
He is the greatest of this generation and by time he might end up as the greatest. In reality he has a little experience, but really he's still in the beginning stage, with that said, just imagine how his greatest will grow. He will be phenomenal !!

This reminds me of the “sleeper” street rods in the 60’s. You know, a 67 Dodge Coronet 2 door post, but then you realize there’s a 426 Hemi under the hood. Pretty amazing. No talk, no words....raw talent.

This kid is obviously an extremely old soul, you don't play like that and carry yourself like that at that age, it's extremely rare and very cool. Keep playing although I'm positive I don't need to tell you that, you have your head set so straight I see big things in your future.

After watching him I took all my guitars piled them and burned every last one. You see I've been playing longer than this little shit has been alive. Seems I've wasted years trying to get these hotdogs to [ fingers] to form a pleasant sound. Sounded better burning than playing. Thank you Mr ostro for enlightening me.
