yeah I couldn't watch it. Didn't help that you downscaled it to 1080 and didn't zoom in with the video editor. Just some feedback even though this is a year old. @@rumblechannel6343
if i would have money for the full bitwig not for just the essentials i would make my arps in seconds in the grid and would never have to use this device again but here we are
Then I cross my fingers that you will be able to upgrade at some point in the future. Fortunately Bitwig is so powerful that any additional VSTs become optional, or nice to have :) In the mean time, I just googled for "best free arpeggiator VST" and some quite interesting looking plugins showed up. Maybe you can try out some of them. Spontaneously BlueARP looks very interesting. I'll actually try it out myself :)
@@rumblechannel6343thanks for the advice. i definitely will need the upgrade, since i am using linux and not much vsts available, also i guess the implemented grid would be much practical and efficient.
Thanks :)! Well I could have zoomed in a bit more to focus on the devices, but I did not black out anything. This is just how Bitwig's mixer background looks like.
@@fangan4770 Bitwig has two main views, the arrangement and the clip launcher. You can switch between them using the "tab" key on your keyboard. You can also have mixed views or display the scenes in horizontal manner. I personally prefer the vertical layout. Since the project in the tutorial is almost empty, i.e. has only two tracks, Bitwig has nothing to display in this portion of the screen and and renders it black. Here is an official tutorial from Bitwig were the layouts are explained in more detail. Hope that helped :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Vx20E5qvW6A.html
@@rumblechannel6343 yea pretty cool and with that randomizer you could bounce little 8 bar ambient melody snippets and just create a library of them somewhere for later use if you wanted to
