Poor kid. His piano playing skills were excellent and he could've been paid millions to play at high-end theaters but he ended up getting a disguise cleaner job cleaning pianos and dead bodies.
In the Saboteur, the final mission, you see a nazi playing the piano in the Eiffel Tower surrounded by bodies. He plays the song "Feeling good" from Nina Simone.
Thats what iv thought from the first time i walked down that stair case and this captivating piano tune comes on and killing the pianist was so crazy about it lol how bout it, 6 years for a comment thats some shit ahahahahahaha
@@theblackbull55 I did ! I fucking did! after 14-15 years right before my thesis dissertation i downloaded the game and killed that Vladimir bitch once again!HAHAH
Reading some comments I've been thinking bout this, this cleaner playing an absolute stunning version of Late Goodbye, while he probably is just bored while he and his mates are waiting in a random hotel for something more important, to kill Max Payne. Even coughing afterwards like he was out of character. It's just a interesting thought, what if he put his downright excellent musical skills to good use? Could have been paid well and be famous. To our protagonist Max however, he was nothing but a criminal following orders. Thats why he died by that piano right there.
This was the first time Remedy got an original song for their game and it was pretty cool seeing it across the story until it finally played till the end. To add to the little trivia, the lyrics to the song was originally from a poem written by Sam Lake. I may have been 18 years late to this game but hell, I adore everything about this game! A campaign so short yet so (bitter) sweet :))
Everytime playing MP2 I never ever tried to interrupt this piano part. Because it's really something. And honestly, at some point it gets "Roxette - Listen to your heart" vibes, the beginning I mean. It's just me, nevermind. Thank you for reading this post and have a good day!
Max Payne 2 is such a fun game! The song Late Goodbye by Poets of the Fall, was such a great theme song for it! To create a masterful piano rendition of the song played by an enemy to fight boredom while waiting for Max to show up and to bring Max Payne (pain), pun was intended, was such a nice touch! That was a cool part of the game the creators made! So cool!
after so many years. why this max payne 2 piano scene comes up to my mind lol btw in this part i used to throw a granade and hiding in the bathroom xD.
After he played the Piano, he stands up and he strolls and whistles the Late Goodbye tune. Such a talented fella. It was a shame that he had to be killed.
I swear max payne 2 used to be the complete pinnacle of graphics back then i and my father thought there will never be better graphics.. how wrong we were 😆
Smh brings back to my teenage years I spent hours playing this game I remember thus seen I came down stairs like wth this fool playing a piano but it sound good I let him finish than I massacred the whole scene 😂🤣💀💀
