When you play as a kid, you think the painkillers are a health item so Max can ignore bullet wounds and keep doing slomo head shots, when you grow up and get wrecked on painkillers, you realise he's an opiate addict that's using to forget about his families deaths.
Upon watching this gameplay, I've come to the conclusion that, Pasos, was right. Max Payne, was the best choice, to dupe into going to Brazil, to watch his back. He's probably thinking,"man, look at all those headshots and he don't even get hit" LOL
Everyone needs a friend like Pasos. Someone who doesn't ask questions when you start an impromptu war with the mob in the middle of a night out, and just pulls out his own gun and starts shooting.
@@cartoonjoseph1624 its not easy to think of him that way when its revealed in the game that he lied about his nationality, the panama canal incident and some other things
@@oui2611 He made mistakes, but hell Max has made mistakes too. Plus Max forgave him, and mostly because Passos admitted what he'd done and came back to help Max when he needed him to. Redemption earned.
This is still my favourite level in the entire game, makes me even more excited for the remakes, the atmosphere that Hoboken gives off reminds me of Carcer City from Manhunt.
Easily the best level in the game. It reminds me of first max payne, running on the rooftops, snowy nighttime in New York = perfect. We need Max Payne remake asap 👌
I notice after the cutscene where Max invites Passos over you're down one bottle of Painkillers (You had 2 during the street shootout and 1 in the apartment complex)
getting shot during these `super-dives` doesn`t affect your health bar so in the end of the day they don`t punish you with `free` damage so I guess it isn`t *that* bad but slightlee annoying to not have a chance for a `100% clean run`
But still he was a hero who took down nearly two crime operations single-handedly so I guess his personal life was pretty fucked up but his career was really good as a cop
So you people don’t know how max survived the bullet to his head while we don’t talk about how Mona survived a bullet to the head also in the first game?
@@clamacatiy we don't know what caliber or distance she got shot and the severity of it, just that she got a bullet wound to the head. Graze, gaping hole, who knows
hello, I hope you see this comment even if all you speak is german. This playthrough has entertained me greatly as someone who is too slow and stupid to even progress past level 3 of Max Payne 3. I love your commitment to a perfect playthrough as well as letting all story beats play in their entirety; it has given me an enjoyment of this game I have not experienced until now. Your channel rocks!
I started out bad myself, no shame in that, you ain't as bad as you think, I'm sure. I think turning on all the assists, Hard Lock, Easy difficulty, and looking up collectible guides for Golden Guns as well as perusing walkthroughs or the official print strategy guide book as needed could help a long way, at least gives ya a chance.
12:27 I`m sure Rockstar didn`t think someone would be insane enough to attempt to no damage their game either way so I can`t really blame them for it I guess lmao:)
mob tweens: "this guy murdered two entire crime families single-handedly along with bringing down a multinational drug corporation , better start mouthing off."
I was thinking about it, were they stupid enough to mess with a guy who took down two crime operations in span of some nights or it has just become too old news for them to come through
12:10 I miss the goofy interactions like this, there was hardly any of the Brazil levels. It's what I miss of the old games, just the goons having stupid conversations.
The only thing that pisses me off is that the game never gives max a chance to shoot that mob boss in the head. If max had to leave jersey, nothing would be better than to tie up some loose ends.
how did pasos (who looks whiter than the spraytanned gentlemen but is called racial slurs) was in the academy with mr payne when payne is 47 years old at the time of max payne 3 and raul is 38 did max enter police academy at 27?
0:20 This line really highlights the narrative difference between MP1/2 and 3 for me. “I tried not to think about when it was that my existence became less about the things that make up people’s lives, and more about the holes that losing those things leave behind.”
I don't get why the hate for this game? Its an amazing experience and they did the game their way, they didn't copy paste remedy. This is why gaming community don't deserve innovative games, they deserve cash grab call of duties every 6 months.
This is a good gameplay, but you really took damage at 12:28. In Max's legs, you can see blood coming out after a bullet in slow motion. It deserve my "like" anyways.
the only damages I`ve taken in the walkthrough are unavoidable ones so there`s no point in `checking the others comments` when it`s just people who don`t know the game
the fellows are already shooting at me before I even take control of Max so kill speed/kill order is completelee irrelevant. I promise I`ll remove `No Damage` as soon as you make me a video of this scene where you make it through without getting touched .. good luck lol;)
