"They were all dead. The final gunshot was an exclamation mark to everything that had led to this point. I released my finger from the trigger. And then it was all over. The storm seemed to lose its frenzy. The ragged clouds gave way to the stars above. A bit closer to Heaven."
the best game ever!! this one and mp2. both of these surely are in my top 5 best games ever. mp3 is in my top 20, but this little piece... have no fear, vlad is here. mwaaahahahah
I Was about 9 years old when i purchaced this game. I never heard it before, the cover and the backside on the packcage was so cool, i just tried to buy it by myself and i was scared when i went to buy it. The age that was needed was about 15-16 so i was so amazed when i got that game. And i have to say that this game is at top 3 still, it was my favourite long time being kid! I Love this game!
+Zim Zam fucking vultures and shit. jim bruvera is a young black guy.they dont show vlad. alex gets killed in maxes house. what the fuck were they thinking?!?! were they thinking at all?!?!
Todd S. Gallows "I thought it was current gen and sent back to be released in 2001." not sure I understand. Yes, it was released in 2001, which is old.
+Todd S. Gallows yeah , theres something utterly gritty and consistent with the first opus. the dialogues before you open a door, the little background noises before the gun fights. first max payne is a classic.
Yeah but imagine this game being remade with the new Unreal Engine 4. Normally, there are few games I think are worthy of a remake, but this one in particular deserves it. However, I would still leave the comic book cutscenes in just for the fans, albeit Max Payne 3 style. Roscoe station and the Ragnorok nightclub in 4k resolution would look amazing.
Max Payne is such an awesome game.. I don't know if I'm the only one that thinks this, but is it me or is Max Payne is kind of similiar to Charles Bronson the way they both lose there family and there both action genres?
Yes, it's true. I saw that movie when I was a child. The game shows exactly what happened to charles bronson in his movie. Good to find someone who understands me.
Man, no other game can compete with Max Payne in regards of storyline, music, and atmosphere. The dark, gritty feeling of it still lives inside me, many years past. I can only compare this masterpiece to Mafia: The City Of Lost Heaven. You can disagree, but theres not a better game released to this day, than these two. I will remember them forever. I dont care for the sequels, they were just shadows of what was before them.
24:00 if listen recalls close you'll here a fimiler jingle... heared that faint sound on both half life 2 radio and silent hill shattered memories OST ice.....
Max payne.....such a great game....i did played it when first plane hit WTC, then i get to watch it live on our channel "Čt2".... I was 10, from Czech Republic.
Since I'm about to finish MP on Steam and the music doesn't work, i might just install the disc version on my other PC with god mode on just to listen to the music again!
first flaw was when rockstar made him too old (good bye max payne 4) gameplay: you shoot bunch of enemies like in call of duty or battlefield. i never wanted this crap.
