Following the success of Grief Is The Thing With Feathers, Max Porter returns with Lanny, his highly-anticipated new novel. Steeped in English myth but dealing very much in the world of today, this is a book about language, family, England and art; a book to hold in your hand and savour. We spoke to Max about the book's genesis, it's form and why the novel is still such a radical form of entertainment.

I just finished Lanny and loved it. I've never heard Max Porter speak before so, cheers, Waterstones, for posting this. What a really lovely bloke Max Porter is - so eloquent and engaging in speaking as well as writing. I love how passionate he is about the arts, creativity and the benefits they bring.

Oustanding! I want to read more and more books written by Max Porter. I like a lot his point of view about arts. I hope his works are translated to portuguese as soon as possible. Hugs from Brazil
