The Manliest knife fight ever.

Yess more boss fights is great,and the knife durability slowly going down during the fight may prompt players to use different tactics with grenades etc. So much hype!

It would require parrying mastery, which would be perfect for the climax.

I wonder if using the knife for the KO move would deplete its durability but allows you to save ammo and quickly kill enemies with it. A nice trade imo

@@mag7520 It probably would. My greatest concern is that maybe this means you can't really use the knife for weak slashes anymore, which would mean... Chickens must be shot!!! Not that it's a bad thing, there's plenty of ammo to go around. Then again, if you run out of bullets and your knife's broken, what would you be left with?

Yeah, they said the Ganados will now turn and position you towards the biggest threat, which in this case was Dr Salvador. I even noticed as he was rushing towards Leon, his chainsaw clipped another Ganado and blood mist sprayed up. I think if he starts to flail his weapon this time around, he'll just take off heads and limbs from anyone around. Doesn't matter who.

Parries make me merry

Ever since they showed 5 seconds of SF6 & RE4R. I've been confident they will be amazing. Capcom wouldn't mess up one of its best games ever.

Yeah, I love what Capcom is accomplishing with the remakes, actually feels worth it. Right out of the gate, you can tell it's almost a new game entirely. The level of detail to the cabin rooms, the lighting, audio, atmosphere, this is some next level reinvention. I pray to god Konami is executing Silent Hill 2 at this level. Capcom has set a very high bar for Bloober Team, Konami, hell, the entire games industry. The faith I have in them at this point after RE2/3/7/Village, they know what they fuck to do!

It fits here. Re5/6 had fantastic combat it just strayed too far from any horror elements which are seemingly present here. Huge W capcom.

Adding a knife parry is something I never would've thought of yet it's the most obvious thing to add for the remake

@@Soulferno it's taking the QTE fight with Krauser and bringing it into actual gameplay. I love it. But agree , I had to have someone else point it out , which makes it make sense but didn't consider it myself.

Every other boss seems to be so I’d imagine krauser is definitely in it as well. Imagine how creepy fighting that one thing in is gonna be, salazars right hand where you can knock over the canisters and freeze it
