Immortality? Yeah right... You don't get enough time to regenerate in a fight let alone even regenerate much for MAX REGNERATION to be viable.

A good tip is that you can use your resistance mode/ focus and it will HELLA buff your regen. Like idk why but I think that especially with vitality regen scales with hp when using mode/ focus or smth

yeah, and then you lose 300 hp for activating mode and you dont get increased health cuz u took damage while casting it and lose out on however much hp your mode wouldve given since ur not full mode is terrible on paladin, genuinely, vetex hates vitality builds or sum, -300 for a mode cast is insanity

@@Kanezumii It is more ridiculous then you think, it does hurt you but you heal it back so fast it doesn't matter, you still get like 95% full hp time I forgot the exact numbers so I may reply with em later but the regen was stupid

around 55 per tick, I have 130 vitality 576 regen and metal. I lost 200hp from vitality drawback, so from my base hp of 1709 to 1553. Then (because of the mode's extra hp) I got 2625 max hp (not fully regened) So then got to full hp in around 18-20 ticks. So did still take a bit but with recovery V u would be basically immortal while the mode lasted

regeneration is a really good side stat since it comes from some of the best armor(oracle armor)

ngl only resistance stat are viable with the update, piercing is alright but hard to build along with power and defense

It scales off hp so you may heal more if you get some more def, also when max level increases your healing increases so maybe in 2 years it would be good.

regen scales off base hp which is your hp from level+hp from vitality stat, not sure if resistance aura counts or not you will have to test that yourself

@@destarker1340 I think resistance is better then regen in every way and now that abyssal modifier is getting added I think you can get 100% damage reduct while blocking “armor piercing would still effect you though”

@@AO_lover it depends one's build really, for non vitality users resistance is usually better but for vitality users regen is usually better for the fact that regen scales on higher base regen and the fact that vitality armor gets free regen stat combine with normal armor stats. Also resistance stacking will only work until the person you're fighting learns that you are using resistance which will happen really fast unless they don't pay attention to your hp.

similarly to agility and warding i think there should be a special effect for a certain amount of high regen, like being able to heal other teammates around you passively by just existing. Something like that would be a cool addition because its CLEARLY not a viable stat for pvp, but pve would maybe work well

the wiki does mention a "warding burst" effect if you have 5+ warding. I've never seen it in game tho. Those kinda mechanics would be really cool otherwise yeah high investing certain stats becomes more detrimental than beneficial.

It would be good if they made it have some kind of special effect like Warding does, Because as it exists mechanically now, it's functionally useless. Something along the lines of: At (?)+ Regeneration stat, grants a rare chance for a healing burst which instantly heals (?)% of your HP and increases the potency of Healing or Regenerating potions by (?)% for (?) seconds.

I wouldn't add a random chance for it to heal because rng in 1v1 pvp isn't very fun. That said, giving it the intensity treatment and having it affect everything related would be cool.

Heyo everyone, im just here to say we vitality builds thought we could be immortal and rise to meta but, current max regenartion needs to be reworked 350 hp healed each 3 seconds. If we are gonna yap about that being some advantage (wich no one has yey) to runners than we can go yap about resistence got it? Plus with that much regen you basically cant fight anyway so theres no OP things about it other than immortality

Regen is only good in paladins and juggernauts, since they get aura and focus, both of which increase hp regeneration. Soo if you have focus with resistance, high regen food and high regen build, you should be able to gain about 50 hp per tick

with a regen build it is BEST to use a combine of the robe and armor (dont use the set and gives regen and intensity its shit) maybe some insanity in the set. do not use the regen amulet use the oracle amulet

i stand by regeneration needed to either reduce the in combat timer, reduce the in combat regen debuff or do BOTH because its so lackcluster and both of those hurt the scaling alot because regen is ONLY ever useful after you take damage unlike any other stat

Regeneration feals more like a suport stat it wont help you much in combat but at least counters some pasive efects such as bleeding or slightly counters drawback. Over all thoe this stat is mid. Its not strong but its not bad. I mean haveing 29 percent regen and still geting around 12 hp in combat (at least i have that) is not bad.

Resistance is like russian rulet. Depends on opoent. For example it will help against some snow mage but on some poison conjurer it wont.
