This is beyond elite content, I didn’t know who Max Robinson was but now I do and I really appreciate and love your videos I’ve watched every single one. Not only do you talk about street legends but you also talk about prominent black figures that we should know about which shows versatility. Keep the content coming I’ll keep coming back thank you.

I remember when Max Robinson was the Chicago anchor for ABC News as part of their "World News Tonight" program in the 1970s. That was a really big deal then. He and Ed Bradley of CBS News were the first 2 African American journalists on the national level that came into my consciousness at that time.

He was a class act and stood up for what he believed in.Very regal. He always looked cool as a cucumber on the air.I watched him everyday as a child and later, as teenager in the mid 1980s. He made me feel like all thing are possible. I remember when he died in 1988 and it made national news.I remember being very sad. I was 18 years old at the time. Great video.I love it!!!

Its sad what black men had to go through in America up until this very day and they still having a problem giving us what's owed, reparations. They tried to bury this man's legacy, but it takes us to tell our unspoken heroes' stories so kudos to you for doing a story about him b/c i never heard of him until today. As a child born and raised in DC, I remember him being a constant on the news my parents watched. He was Black, Handsome and he looked like us, he was well loved and respected in Chocolate City. Even though he was reluctant to accept his ground breaking success as the first his fans in DC and I’m sure Chicago remember him for exactly that. The Black community trusted him and we still celebrate his success and life. Rest In Peace, Mr. Robinson.
