Erick Paredes Because most people who hate on tasteful automotive culture like this usually are douche teenagers driving 500$ riced out civics. Just don't hate on something that's actually nice.
Dan +Dan well I don't have a 500$ civic or any type of Honda and liking or not liking rx8's is my opinion not yours. So you don't need to go around calling me or anyone alse ricer and saying that I have shit honda. (Not hating on Hondas btw I actually like em)
+Chris Jacob it is actually pretty awesome.. Esp anything after 4.5k rpm is a blast. 3rd gear tops out at 148km/h .. I am on my 2nd rx8 my current 8 has ported engine, full exhaust system, CAI, upgraded coils, upgraded sways, endlinks, full coilovers, she rides on 20' wheels, sounds amazing and comes alive at 4k rpm :-)
Nice Rex buddy. Do you have many Issues with how low it is, like speed bumps ? Im getting the OEM Aero kit hydrodipped to carbon fibre and screwing that on with the Rex sitting on a nice pack of teins
Looks good wish i could keep mines as clean lol but then i work in an asphalt plant....crispy clean in the morning by noon....dusty as a great grand mothers cuuch....lmao
Just need to know how to take care of them, they aren't like conventional engines so they shouldn't be treated like one. I have plenty of friends that drive their rotary powered cars daily.
this car is a very sexy sounding car, and it has decent looks not to mention the RWD, and it's not that slow. if im not mistaken it comes with 250 HP or somewhere around there....
TYPICAL GAMER well for one I have a friend who has one and has done an engine rebuild after only 50,000 kilometers... and two read for yourself the people who have owned these cars www.edmunds.com/mazda/rx-8/2005/coupe/st-100463531/used/review/
+Sebastian Rogers I knew a lady who bought an M3 a few years ago brand new. after a year and only a few thousand kms the engine went..Guess why?? cuz she didn't drive the car the way it was meant to be driven and never gave a shit about the maintenance.. Same goes for Rx8 Redline a day keeps the carbon away.. Rotary is oil thirsty by design, my 04 rx8 lasted me 282k kms and yes I bought it used at 160k original motor and tranny. And Myself and previous owner used synthetic oil, and drove the piss out of the car :-) Surprisingly, the car never left me stranded. at 260k it was only running on 1 rotor and after another 22k the engine died..
Anticipator .. just goes to show that if you know wtf you’re doing and you don’t drive it like a bitch it’ll last you just as long as any other car would
