@@alphawolf3125 tbh it makes sense. I always wanted justin to win. He studied and worked hard. But Alex did make sense because she practiced with magic alot by messing around. One had the knowledge and the other had experience as i saw it. Plus she did learn from her brother.
To be fair, they told Harper and Zeke, people they’ve and the parents have known for years and have proven to have their friends best interest at heart. Max’s girlfriend is someone they haven’t meet yet and it’s a fairly new relationship

I never understood why they didn’t just use the memory erase spell on Nancy? I remember Jerry suggesting they do that when Harper found out the secret.
If they chose to do that, then the episode would have ended too quickly. I'm pretty sure the writers thought of that but they wanted the episode to not be short.
Its a little something they call "sake of plot" in which they could easily do something to solve the problem but don't to keep the story going in the way the writers want

I always found Alex so hypocritical. Whenever she lied or messed up big time, she’d always act like “Mom and Dad can’t know, cover for me”. But when her brothers messed up she was always a tattletale and acted like “Not my problem, that’s on you”.
I feel bad for Max in this episode. His family forced him to tell his girlfriend that he lied about being wizard. I mean, I'm sure she would promise not to tell anyone since no one would believe her. And it's unfair because she broke up with Max after for thinking he lied to her. If the family just accepted that Max's girlfriend knew they are wizards and that she promises to not tell anyone, I think Max would've had a great relationship with her. He's not even with anyone by the series' end. The family allows Harper and Zeke know, but not Max's girlfriend frustrates me. I mean, Jerry did say he wanted Harper to lose her memory about her knowing they're all wizards, but that never happened.
Max was still dating Talia by the end of the series, although it’s not clear if they’re still together in Alex vs Alex even though he was chasing after a girl in the special
🤨 Yeah! That's so bull shit the family is A-ok with Harper and Zeke knowing their secret but drew the line when Max told his girlfriend. I mean I can't remember how long they've been dating but if it's been a decent amount of time and Max trust her enough, the family should accept it like they did with the other two. And talk to her explaining why she can't blab to anyone about them being wizards.

In the episode where Justin and Juliet first met and Alex called them Romeo and Juliet, I was 100% unaware that it was actually a play by Shakespeare because I first saw Wizards of Waverley Place in Elementary School and read and watched Romeo and Juliet in High School, so I didn’t know about that play at all when Alex called Justin Romeo while his vampire girlfriend was already named Juliet, and I didn’t pay attention to Alex saying those names either when I first saw the episode.
True. Sometimes, when you tell the truth or lie you get in trouble. So, either choose what is said very carefully, or don’t say anything especially if it’s a family secret. Also, I don’t think Alex was ready or expecting that double spit take.

So it’s no problem when Alex and Justin tell people that they’re wizards ..but when max does it , suddenly it’s a giant issue. I always felt like that was really hypocritical
I mean the parents knew Harper and Zeke for years and could trust that they wouldn’t reveal the secret. Max only recently started dating this girl and they don’t know her. So then being more concerned makes more sense as they don’t know if they can trust someone who isn’t that close to the family yet

They easily could’ve just erased her brain with magic. This is the problem with creating characters that can do anything. You have to pretend like they can’t in order to create conflict.
