I feel like I know what you need. I play competitive Pokemon (Smogon singles if you know what that is) and I also love playing Yumiko on the side. My position in Pokemon is a lot like your position right now, you're like the underdog, you say you keep feeling like you're not on the level of these players, but the only thing you really gotta fix is your mindset. When I'm playing an important tournament match and I'm feeling down, I know I'm better than the opponent, I know that I can totally crush them, but I'm just doubting myself so much and the only way to help myself is to put it like this. If I have to lose this match, then I'll make it the best played match of my life, I'm gonna go in and make sure I have no regrets. Doesn't matter if I win or lose, I just need to give it my all. The rest should be self explanatory, it's a guaranteed win if you get a bit lucky and play better. Also, keep in mind that you're already good enough, a priority isn't to grind 8 hours a day or uninstall Discord, instead focus on keeping yourself in balance. The state of mind is what truly decides whether you win or lose unless you're going against the best player of all time or something.
It kinda seems like when you lock in too hard you don’t know how to switch in between aggressive and passive at the right time. Obviously when you’re super disadvantaged you have to equalize the damage by going crazy on them but you kinda stay in that mode when you have a stock advantage and youre 2 hits away from losing it you play rlly risky when you can just keep your advantage as long as you can.
Im not a pro player or anything nearly as good but honestly i would say no. Yumiko is not that strong currently but this is brawlhalla, anything is viable if used well enough idk
I love playing Yumiko. Problem is that I just can't kill with her without using sigs. I usually have to use dlight+rec on bow and dlight+sair on hammer to kill, but even at 170-190 those don't always kill. Any tips?
