yep. when i first heard of him i thought he was so rude and cocky. when i got more into F1 and started watching the races and interviews i was like wait...i actually like this guy😂
@@BlackHedrak nothing except a big bro usually gives little bro more shit and a harder time than the other way around, usually Making the little bro more resilient, whereas best buddies give each other shit equally
I mean they kinda where that's the thing it's like it's always been for example senna and prost... on track they were mortal enemies which is what it is many drivers say that on track you're all enemies no matter what your off track relationship is. So on track max and Daniel where enemies but off track as you see they're good friends so it maybe seems like that to you
Corrado Scire you literally can’t compare these two to senna and Prost, they are completely different people. Yes they want to win and are competitive but they would not take one another out of the race just to win.
Anyone notice how Max has some kind of Daniel-ADHD. If he’s doing an interview and Daniel happens to pass, he gets distracted by Daniel and starts talking to him instead
TintinSnSn I think they did, but sometimes the competition got in the way. Now that they’re not competing I think their friendship is even better. The video is full of funny moments of them together which means they appreciated each other.
That Netflix series is BS. They try so hard to make F1 look like its the most dangerous and exciting sport ever, the races barely have any overtakes but meanwhile in Netflix F1 is like an Avengers movie, feels like Thanos will pop up at any moment and wipe half of them away from it. It's just a big FIA add
@@Lucas-ck1po It would be good if they focused on interesting stories or even showed something from those they did..the only ones that we have a detailed "view" of is Ric and Haas team..Albon and Gasly are secondary characters and the rest is just "there" :D So many missed opportunities this season to make it seem interesting and they barely show it..Ferrari shit, Mercedes German GP scrap wasnt really as dramatic as it could have been..Vettel is shown as some kind of old guy driving for Ferrari that is just there and didnt achieve anything... bad editing (cuts)... it wasnt bad but it also wasnt great, just good.
If people haven't already they need to see the full track ride, it's just 5 minutes of Max doing nothing other than those noises and Danny commentating but also trying to keep up with his 5 year old child 😂
Ricciardo is an example of a man who is not what you would call pretty at first sight, but when you see his sense of humor and never-ending smile he becomes irresistible and charming. Well done mate
Dan and Max remind me of dogs seeing other dogs. Like in the first clip Max is focused on the interview until he sees Dan and then he physically gets distracted and goes "Look! A friend! Hello friend! Come and join me friend!"
Seb and Daniel..change my mind.. F1 back then wasnt showing this side of them back in 2014 really so we dont have too much from it. Social media "back then" werent a priority for Ecclestone nor really the teams either..
I think it's better now that they're not team mates. I think their on track rivalry and inner team favouritism leaning more and more in Max's favour, (not hating on Max) would have got the better of them sooner or later. Now that they're in different teams and not direct competitors, we've been treated to some great moments of true friendship in paddock interviews and so on. Great to see they still get on so well out of the car. Looking forward to more of the same this year.
Ricciardo made the right decision by leaving Red Bull. Everyone knew a top driver would have to be chosen, and with how competitive these 2 are, it would've ended badly for one of them if not both. He also said that driving for Renault allowed him to mature and improve a lot, which is always a good thing
The cycling parts show how fit these f1 drivers are. I mean in one shot Riccardo was literally carrying max in the sidecar and still talking as though he was doing nothing...so jealous 😔
I don't blame Christian for that tho. Being team principal, sometimes backing the sure bet horse makes sense. Hear me out. Danny boyo was well loved and he's a great driver but he isn't pulling much of his weight as Christian liked. I preferred Danny towards Max but still, truth hurts. Danny might be a great and clean driver, Max was the one producing results that Christian wanna see. Max bangs on extremely blistering qualifying times consistently that Danny could not and during race day, Max was also more daring, gets aggressive plays in in order to edge out other teams with Danny does not do. Despite Max crashing at twice the rate Danny does, his times in qualifying and race pace was justified that he should get the better treatment than Danny. Not that I agree with that but I can see why.
@@wscottwalters74 Danny is aggressive but when dive comes to shunt, Danny loses out on Max. Danny's dives are calculated and most calculative plays don't get you far while the most unpredictable ones does and that's where Max shines. I like watching Danny being technical about his moves while I like Max's mad dash and wild dives that often spook other people out that even the big dogs are hating him for it. Its just much like Alain Prost vs Senna all over again. One being very technical and fast but one being VEEEERY aggressive that everyone sort of hates because he would total his car, dives inside of everyone and yet punch out blistering speed runs. Thus, Max gets the better treatment as both the results and entertainment value on the track are way higher than Danny could produce.
@@wscottwalters74 Yea. I still wanna see Danny shine tho. He's quirky, he's fast, VEEEERY smart, very technical even when not in a car and pretty ballsy too. However, when its an actual race, I'll still cheer for Max because he is the one that shows results consistently and also makes very aggressive plays, way more than Danny which harps back to the racing period which Jos Verstappen did where likes of Mansell, Hill, Prost, Alesi, Herbert, Hakkinen and especially Schumacher and Senna where almost all had no fears in wrecking their car just to win and that's the sheer entertainment of racing. Knives edge driving is where its fun. No one wanna see a driver driving like a braindead zombie just being a pussy and dares not overtake like a mad man. That appeal alone is why more people prefer Max and all these factors alone always ensure such men wins.
*To put Daniel's answer in context (**0:20**)* you have to remember he made the laprecord of Mexico's track in qualifiying 2018, and then Max came for pole position in 2019 and took the lap record in his second attempt but was penalised for ignoring the yellow flags in the last corner so the lap didn't count :)
I think max probably misses having a teammate that challenges him like Daniel did, I think that’s why they were able to have a good competitive but fun attitude
@@forgonenapster8888 No, but he just wants subs and bots are like the lamest way to get subs. He doesn't watch the video and comments: Nice video or "great content".
im a die hard Kimi and Vettel blood, but Danial and Max is like favorite cousins of mine, so love every driver of F1 all siblings and as IRON MAIDEN conveys, "WE ARE BLOODBROTHERS IN F1" unconditional..Love you guys of F1 fans and to be
Half of the reason Ricciardo left Red Bull has been solved now. Verstappen's racing has matured, he doesn't take the same chances any more. The other half... If Ricciardo can bear that there's more focus on Max's side of the garage I'm positive that he can get a better position in the championship with Red Bull than with other any other team aside from Mercedes. Ricciardo should go back to Red Bull if they'll have him.
