Actually not really. I have seen Max and Nico talking Dutch before. His hometown is partly enclosed by the Netherlands. Outside parts of Emmerich have been Dutch till 1815 (as part of Kleef and Gelre) and the churches under Bishop of Utrecht. And for 20 years after World War 2 a small part of Emmerich was Dutch, till we sold it back.
I think it is amazing how down to earth Max is and has stayed. The success doesnt go to his had; no arrogance whatsoever. Just a guywho loves racing and he gets along with most of his fellow racers.
Not fully agree, when the visor goes down. For example last year Brazil. He won WDC already and then being still bittered about possible thing at Monaco.
My Goodness... That young man Max is so relaxed before this race that he can perform THIS ??? Now I am convinced that - without a mechanical breakdown - he can win every race this year! 😮

This, they have all been there before their first race and know it's even more difficult to stay calm when put in a car with basically no prep time. They seem to genuinely wish him to do well :)
Sadly it's only good because it's fresh and spontaneous and full of real warmth...As soon as they lay their corporate fingers on it it's gonna be forced and annoying...Not their fault, spontaneity is precious
According to media, the drivers all hate each other, but really they're just chill. To show this stuff ruins the storyline they sometimes try and create. On track is way different from off. No one on track likes someone who's trying to beat them to the win or the podium, but come off, and it's like "where are you going for dinner mate?"
It's amazing when you actually see the Real actions and then read the media and watch the videos posted on yt passing as gospel. Honestly, the sport is bludgeoning itself to nausea. Remarkable is putting it lightly.
0:55 Nico's Dutch isnt to bad actually 😂 I love seeing drivers being themself and just fooling around with eachother. What a great group. For the people wondering, "Wat ben jij aan t kloten hier" is what Nico said. Pretty much translates to "what are you fooling around about"
That Hulkenberg pop in killed me 😂. For the ones who dont speak dutch he says "Wat ben jij aan het kloten hier?" Which basicly translates so something like: What are you messing arround here? 😂
1:04 Albon - big smiles! He's had a great weekend in that Williams, everything from FP to the GP. Wish that I had seem him a bit further up on the result board. His talent outperformed that car.
It's so nice to especially seeing all the young drivers are driving hard but fair on the tracks and really push eachother, but outside the track just having fun and joking around
Just watched for a second time to hear better. You have to hand it to Max, he's really a one in a million type of Winner. Can anyone see any other Champion doing this, being laid back, loose, etc? And he did a really good job too. What a special vignette. Thanks very much for sharing!
I don't understand anyone who doesn't like Max. He has much more personality than Hamilton or Schumacher and like Alonso and Vettle he's has a sense of humour, oh and is definitely one of the top five racers ever. 😊
Schumacher had so much humor. The thing is that most people took his shyness for arrogance but he just didn't liked camera's that much. That's also why he and Corina have lived a life out of the spotlights as much as they could.

Yeah I was so pleasantly surprised when Hulk spoke Dutch to the crowd…from the happy cheers it seems they were too! On a slightly unrelated note, I was reading that Hulk and Max have become great friends in Monaco and are planning to one day drive WEC or LeMans together.
@@mamavswild Max and Nico have always gotten along great. They were pretty much always chatting together and being goofy pre races. In fact, when Ricciardo suddenly left Red Bull and the team was looking for a new driver, Max said on Dutch tv that this decision was not up to him to make but that he has told the team that he would really like it if Nico could be his teammate.
@@mamavswild yeah Hulk is from Emmereich, that's an hour or so away from Zandvoort.. those people speak both languages, which they picked up while chilling on beaches & "coffee shops"
@@mohammadnashitsiddiqui2168 Actually, not so long ago Emmerich (Emmerik) was a part of The Netherlands. It's very close to the Dutch border, and nowadays the local dialect in Emmerich is still the same as the Dutch dialect just across the border. Keeping this in mind, there is a slight possibility Mr. Hülkenberg didn't need any coffeeshops to learn the language :)
Lewis sucks. He has a superiority complex yet cries victim at every opportunity. He’s fake and has an agenda for everything he does and says. He’s also “woke”, that alone is enough for me to want him gone.
Everything organized for or by the drivers Lewis opts-out. He also once answered when asked who he is friends with on the grid "his car". He doesn't have to be friends with anybody, but he couldn't even say Bottas who he was driving with back then or Vettel he now suddenly respects so much. I am sure his fight for a better world and dito organisations is manufactored or PR as his character is not reflecting well on camera or in interviews. Talking about stuff like that helps him hide his character and gives him something to talk about.
What a precious video, it will go down to posterity...Sadly we never had that from the past legends, luckily we have many stories from them told by their peers (and to be honest their stories were always a bit more mad in the old schoolers).

Very nice video showing Max has zero airs about him. Double World Champion on his to way to #3 but just chilling and having a laugh with his friends/competitors. Including 'newcomer' Liam. Very cool! And not a surprise to those that can look beyond the racing visor and 'professional broadcast' nonsense.
Damn, F1 drivers cockiness went through the window and that's good, we never could imagine seeing something like that in the old school drivers. Everyone just chilling before the race.

Porém vi agora o VT, foi top demais e arrepiou o hino cantado por uma cantora e a torcida cantando junto!!! E também na sala pré pódio ele admirando as ultrapassagens do Alonso foi demais, a emoção dele no pódio contendo as lagrimas e a corrida foi incrível!! Muita emoção, faltou Landinho no pódio, mas feliz pelo Gasly!! Desculpe o texto haha E eu amo esse canal!! Meu favorito!!!
I dont know why some people still think max is arrogant or mean or something like that. Max is very gentle, kind en funny with a strong own opinion and very competitive, but always pure, I believe. If you look at his smile he most of the times makes when he tries to say something funny in a kind way (a bit of a Dutch way), you will see it for yourself.
I hope Max can win 5 more driver's championship to become tied to Schumacher and Hamilton.🏆🏎 Let's go Max!!!! Edit: Or what's gonna happen if Max win 8 championship in his career?
@@goyslop4289Yes, we will see, people are already complaining. There’s already a significant change in 2026, so they only get 4 years under these regs. Just like 2010 - 2013. Ferrari got 5 years (2000-04) before a change to stop them. Merc however were given an unprecedented 8 years to dominate and their fans are complaining after 1 1/2 years of RB doing it.
I think he doesn’t care. Goat shit would be to just quit after 2026 with 4 or 5 championships and compete in an other race competition and nail it there also🤟🏽 I think for Max the fun part is the most important.
