Im 34 picked up the game a week ago to do something with my 5 year old son, we're collecting. I made it to master league 1100 already without really learning anything first. Just looked into videos for strategy and am just curious, is everyone in master league? What's the difficulty ranges in this, is this unusual? Getting rank so high so quickly
Hi! I think anybody who plays for a while can be good enough to climb up the ranks if you're playing a strong deck (the kinds which win competitive tournaments frequently). The ranked play is made in such a way that you gain more points for winning than you lose when you lose a game, so as long as you're not losing too many games, you can make it all the way to Arceus rank if you play enough with a good deck. As we're in the middle of a season too, many of the better players will have ranked up already so you're probably not being matched against them too.
@@michaelcalvert6323 ya last night, played star wars CCG back in the mid 90s, dont know anything about pokemon...but I am enjoying the game. doing ok I guess. currently 3 victories and 5 losses. meh.
