Maximising performance on the all new Hornby Black 5 45157 The Glasgow Highlander - HM7000 DCC 

The newest arrival on the North Tyne Loop layout is the new Hornby black 5,
45157 The Glasgow Highlander.
Here I found out that adding a stay alive wasn't as straightforward as I was hoping. I had to cut into the tender moulding to hide the AE Models stay alive so the tender body could then fit back onto the chassis.
In the last part of this video you can see the crawl I have achieved by altering the CV settings in the HM7000 DCC app.
Over all, very happy with the results, the loco is as smooth as silk at running with the new modifications.
